I remember when i was kid 2002 i played this game. And in indonesia the GM create event roan and yufa. Like play hide n seek, we must find the main character GM as ROAN or YUFA. If we found them, we have to enter the password for get into chat box. If we can, we will win prize from GM. OCA, OPB, OBB, GB. Ohhhhh my childhood is beautiful.

I never made a caster in my 5 available slots back when I played, but I did get to play someone else's, allowed to party-leach my blacksmith. I recall the poorly coded Firewall which almost insta-killed Stings back then. While caster were always designed to be Glass Cannons, it did seem kind of unfair how they (and ranged classes in general) could go take on slow-moving high-levelled enemies early and get levels in no time. Level 34 to 55 in an hour here, is nuts! 👀💦 55:32 Ah yes, complacency, the _number one killer_ in *Repetitive Work.* 😹

The exp is a loooot faster here but I remember even on iRO if you grinded hardcore you could probably hit job 50 in a day. My main classes were mages, archer and acolyte ones. I'll need to learn how to play the swordman classes when I get round to those. No idea how to play any of them haha

mages always seemed to level so easily but when I became one I realized I was so fragile - and getting that vertical fire wall right, that's some skill

Look at all these comments!!!! Brings me joy. RO made it to the list of video games where people feel nostalgia from hearing it (mixed with a few warping or poring sounds now and again of course). And I don't think there are many games on that list. I played during beta 1, before there was a mini map, and you had to know how to get through the pyrmaid maze to get to lvl 2 in Morroc. You did that by hugging the left wall the whole way there. Another fun fact, I used to change the BGM with some of my favorite pop songs at the time, when I figured out I could put Britney Spears - Toxic and rename it as BGM - it just looped and looped, I tried the FFXIII BGM replacement songs, but the original were always the best.

One of the most dangerous monsters in the year 2003 era, everyone dies if don't press Fly Wing! Or teleport clip. Impossible to hit and run, too fast! Just slightly less dangerous than the Wanderer in payon forest

I feel sad. Past i cant buy equipment, cant play long time cos i hadnt money when i grade elementary school. Today i can buy equipment, pc but i cant buy feeling this game. Oh beautiful my childhood with this game. Anyway i play this game from 2003 till 2014

@@leonardo942100 I moved to low-rate private server due to official servers bots, 90% players are botters there, wherever fields I go, all mindless bots farming certain items. INT VIT Desperado Gunslinger = the best build! Switch to Valkrie Shield when retreating and not in range! I still remember my guild mates were in awe seeing a proper Gunslinger for the 1st time back then. Kills mobs so fast in dungeon parties like Nameless Island zombies, but need their Blacksmith to help carry my silver bullets💀💀💀 Explosively Powerful Desperado consumes bullets like an expensive sports car
