Hello brother I have a 2005 gmc Yukon Denali my reading oil pressure reading stays at 0 I have been driving the truck like that for a while I have no engine codes another thing is there is a problem with my cluster my milage is ghost and prnd123 are barley visible everything else on the cluster works other than my oil pressure gauge stuck at 0 just need some input before I start spending money on parts

I agree, but he is in Alaska. My 02 runs phenomenally, but storm yesterday on way home, and codes galore this morning after no start. Dash lights stayed on, and abs light. Figuring trash on wheel speed sensor magnets, and park indicator tab broken on shift lever. Any other ideas.

I have a 2002 Tahoe Z71 and I just performed the 2024 big brake upgrade and boy what a difference. I am now wanting to convert it to Hydroboost. I have the complete Hydroboost Setup off a 2006 Suburban. The problem I am seeing is the 2002 Power Steering pump had the EVO sensor and the 2006 does not. Will I be ok just swapping Power Steering pumps and disconnecting the EVO? I need the 2006 pump because it has multiple returns for the PS fluid. Do I need to put the EVO bypass on the 2006 Pump or just run the 2006 pump without it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I got no ac compressor no backup lights no dome lights can't dim the dash out no gauges no radio things I have replaced and Done had dash panel rebuilt changed all the fuses there hot with power all the relays checked every ground wire in and on and under the truck replaced the bcm with a new one new batteries the truck will start right up and drive with no problem and the dash has a abs light on battery light on air bag and check engine I even changed the fuse block took the dash apart and checked the wires and ground my heater works only thing is ac compressor not turning on I can jump the relay and it will freeze you out and least it won't let me scan it no connect yes I checked all the fuses and wires on that and least but not first the Chevy dealership had no clue what it could be so yep 47 years of being a mechanic this one has me

Loosen the 1 clamp on the maf and slide the assembly apart. Makes it alot easier to service that maf

my father went to dealership for his check engine light being on they said they put a new computer in it. I told him to turn signal bulb that's all it needs for the turn signal just needs a bulb they did everything except the bulb so they said , What is this it had a leak so they apparently put a new computer in it fix the air condition and then throw in an oil change and it was still over 5000 but if that'll piss you off

they charge my father 5000.00 to fix his air conditioner , and he kept me from smashing their main window driving up on his desk

What about a volvo steering rack with the variable assist solenoid on the rack collum itself, can you replace it with a rack that does not have the assist solenoid,, and essentially just plug in the old solenoid and let it dangle (since it doesn't have a place to connect to the new rack)?

Hi what's your experience with this? 2005 Yukon, 5.3L 4x4, 223,000 miles, all stock, daily driver. I can just hear a clicking sound that varies with wheel speed (not rpms) when all else is quiet in cab and windows are down, driving next to a wall or barrier, at 10/15 mph or faster. But ONLY under load with accelerator pressed. Does not click when coasting, or not moving. Comes from under vehicle. I figure either driveshaft u-joint or rear wheel bearing, or maybe parking brake hardware (park brake is out of adjustment), but what do you think? U-joints look ok. A smidgen of play that I can feel but not really see, by hand, same on both ends. Not tight or blown out. Sealed type. Thank ya!
