I feel that the length & content of the video could be a lot shorter/simplified if you post the information you find is most accurate instead of referencing multiple sources & comparing which one is most likely to be the real events. That should be up to the individual to figure out if they were more interested. I find myself getting lost many times from the departure of the subject so it seems better to just skip these recaps.

As an addition to TheMrPetechannel comment on why so few views. Your channel has come up fairly frequently on my feed since I watch a lot of ancient history material. However, simply because of the name of the channel I have passed it over as quite possibly an AI channel putting a computer voice to reading some public source document. However, the topic of Roman exploration of the Sahara is of interest to me so I decided to see. I'm very pleased I did. You have excellent content and relevant imagery and lots of information as well as enough information so I can follow up with more research if I want to. Thank You!!!!!!!! Excellent work, keep it up. Went to sleep. In my dream in Ancient Rome I pulled out my phone bc it wouldn’t stop talking and then things took a turn south.

An extremely Western view of the source material. I am predisposed to lean west/US, and I'm not a smart historian, but this is clearly a reciting of facts from a 200 year old British worldview and the subsequent publications that agree with it. The video lacks nuance and depth and this issue is compounded by a matter of fact delivery. It suggests that this *is* the way things were, as if our current understanding is concrete because a book said so. Don't mean to blow you up like this, you clearly love Rome and did a great job compiling the info. You know your stuff and clearly many many people have commended you for this. I would suggest embracing bias in the historical sources, supporting information with cultural factors that help build our understanding the facts, and nailing details like pronunciation. Linguistics and word choice have a big impact on what people take away from a subject as information dense as this video.
