Amazing to watch, just wondering how quickly we have developed this technology, we've progressed so far in so little time

I love watching/hearing these amazing shredding machines but find it hard to believe they have shredded nothing since five years ago, when this clip was released. Did it break dòwn? If not, then where are all the subsequent films? But whats really needed is a follow up film of the whole process, not just shredding, but then sorting, processing and what happens all down the line, ending maybe with ingots of reclaimed metals and power ratings from burning generated "Other materials".

Technologie apprise dans les écoles dans les années 80 en plus du traditionnel... Avec des ouvriers mal considérés et mal payés ces formations n'existent quasiment plus ! Rien d'exceptionnel dans la vidéo depuis les 40 dernières années.

It's almost like a horror film where some underground monster catches and devours a character. Kinda creepy.

The ones that reverse when they detect a lot of loading or jamming probably work best as the machines will last a lot longer without as much danger to them being damaged. Planned obsolescence. Wouldn't want these things to last forever no $$ in that. Anyhow they don't throw anvils and railroad rails into these things or they wouldn't last very long if at all. especially anvils some of those weigh a ton of some really hard steel as a single mass. Yep best to just melt some things down rather than trying to crush them.
