I had four buds. Three turned into flowers while I was out of town and the fourth aborted. I had another bud that went pretty far and aborted, but that was on a cutting.

Robles is self-fertile. Sadly these plants are all bruds and no buds

Nice choice of music to go with that beauty. Don't hear oldies like this much anymore. Got 3 buds on my plant, can't wait to taste it. Do you use it's own pollen to set fruit?

Wow, you have a whole lot of nice DF varieties!!! let me know when you sell some cuttings. I also live here in Vegas. I started growing DF about 2 years now and I just had my first bud on my Connie Meyer.

Lots of great verity’s of DF I’m just getting started for a few months now, just lost most of my Robles red and physical graffiti this past winter. We had a hard freeze mid 20-30’s. Here at Northern California.

Hey there! How many mature fruiting plants would you estimate you have and how many fruits/yr would you say you get? I'm just starting my DF journey in the desert as well :)

I have about 170 plants. Many should fruit for the first time this season. There are people in our Facebook group in Las Vegas that have been getting fruit. It’s tricky and requires attention, but it can be done.

I wish there was sum way to protect the tip of the new growth. I swear if I tip one more branch bumping in to it moving about the greenhouse.

I just lost the top growth of my Connie Gee, when the wind blew it over. So I’m rooting that now. 🤬

@@DesertDragonsDragonFruit try water rooting with Diamond nectar on a heat mat. 3-5days & my 3-4” Tips are rooting. Never could get those immature stem tips to root in soil, so tried new approach use sum grafting tape a popsicle stick. Space cutting off the bottom of jar as the stem won’t hold its weigh, mix a cup of warm tap water mix in 1tsp of Diamond nectar from general hydroponics and put cuttings in 3-5days later the roots will be popping

@@DesertDragonsDragonFruit yea also had to add a protection boarder to my trellis to keep unwanted touching/molesting of my new growth. Doing really well recovering from topping to new growth. I knock the top 2mm of the tip off wait 3 days and snip the tip off and trim to expose 1/2” of stem allow to callous over. And roots by a wk max and new growth from the tip with in 2wks under led lighting 70deg with 50% humidity. 650 w over two trellises and a 4x4 table. I need a bigger indoor garden ☺️maybe a 4season patio with glass roof 😊

They came from Wallace Ranch. If you’re in Vegas, we have a local Facebook group. Look up Las Vegas Valley Dragon Fruit Growers.
