I wish there was sum way to protect the tip of the new growth. I swear if I tip one more branch bumping in to it moving about the greenhouse.

I just lost the top growth of my Connie Gee, when the wind blew it over. So I’m rooting that now. 🤬

@@DesertDragonsDragonFruit try water rooting with Diamond nectar on a heat mat. 3-5days & my 3-4” Tips are rooting. Never could get those immature stem tips to root in soil, so tried new approach use sum grafting tape a popsicle stick. Space cutting off the bottom of jar as the stem won’t hold its weigh, mix a cup of warm tap water mix in 1tsp of Diamond nectar from general hydroponics and put cuttings in 3-5days later the roots will be popping

@@DesertDragonsDragonFruit yea also had to add a protection boarder to my trellis to keep unwanted touching/molesting of my new growth. Doing really well recovering from topping to new growth. I knock the top 2mm of the tip off wait 3 days and snip the tip off and trim to expose 1/2” of stem allow to callous over. And roots by a wk max and new growth from the tip with in 2wks under led lighting 70deg with 50% humidity. 650 w over two trellises and a 4x4 table. I need a bigger indoor garden ☺️maybe a 4season patio with glass roof 😊
