My god, some of these I haven't heard since the seventies when I was a kid. But every note comes back. They never made a bad song did they?

loved all the songs mentioned. Two of them I have never heard before. I feel that a lot of ABBA's song have been underrated over the years. They seem to "discover! " a new song every now and then. ABBA will go down as one of the greatest bands of ALL time.

Most of the songs on the "Voulez-Vous"-album are underrated, the exception being "Thank you for the music" and "Chiquitita" , both song that couldn't be more famous and loved. People tend to label "Voulez-Vous" as a disco album, but it's actually timeless pophit after pophit. Yes, it was influenced by disco and very much by Bee Gees "Staying Alive" soundtrack, but there isn't a weak track on the album. So at least eight songs on the album are underrated. And come on, what band wouldn't have loved to start with a track like "As good as new" and end with "Kisses of fire"? It's just pop perfection. "Hole in your soul" and "Tiger" are of course also masterpieces that never gotten the recognition they deserves.

Check out my ‘Extended Classic Clubmix’ here… kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q7iFZqaal7XFoIE.htmlfeature=shared …of ABBA’s “Lay All Your Love On Me” with a RT. of 9.28 It’s the 12 Inch Maxi Single version that was never released back in 1981 but should’ve been.. it would’ve sounded like this ‘Extended Classic Clubmix’ I did of ABBA’s greatest dance song they have ever made “Lay All Your Love On Me”

Scherrie is a lovely lady and a wonderful singer. But to be historically accurate, there were actually only two official "leads" in the Supremes: Diana Ross and Jean Terrell. Both were chosen by Berry Gordy. After Jean left, the group had no recordings for almost two years. Mary worked hard and reinvented the group as an "Ensemble Act" with no one person as the designated lead singer. In fact, Mary and Scherrie shared leads very evenly (50% each) and later also with Susaye. This is proven by counting the lead singers on each song in the three studio albums after Jean left. It is also validated by tv and club performances, and further validated in Mary's book in which she states that she would be stepping up to take more leads.
