I’ve watched series 100 times over on different occasions and every time over the years watching it brought a light to my dark tunnel and honestly made me a better person. So like this if you read this and felt something from watching supernatural

people think griffith and femto aren’t the same, when femto is everything griffith wanted to be, devoid of human emotions and empathy, he always had that dark side to him, the sacrifice just merely allowed him to be able to act on his desires

Just a little reminder, but Bleach universe is based on Buddhism worldview and reincarnation, so no, Soul Society is NOT supposed to be Paradise in any way, and it's a bit unfair to compare it to Paradise

I’m well aware? My point was that characters in-universe portray it a certain way only for the story itself to clearly subvert that and portray it as very broken. Nothing I said was unfair, you misunderstood my point.

One of my top favorite episodes along with Fly. I also like the episode where Hank finds the RV with Walt and Jesse inside of it. I still watch the show on a regular in 2024.

I know I am a bit late in writing this. But there is something I noticed throughout the video. Her eye color. In the beginning, her eyes are shrouded in a crimson color, reflective of a lack of compassion and her cruelty. But as time goes on, her eyes become gold progressively, reflecting her journey to being a more caring individual. I could be reading into it a bit, but I couldn't help but notice it.

not far from this point in the season. Burt Cooper is in Don’s office telling him to get to work since he had been shirking his duties with Megan being in the office and his wife.

You could put him in most of if not anu part/s of JoJo and hed fit in so well do to his personality iq and uniqu abilities though that last one would need to ve adjusted int the power system which i do think can be doable by somevody like araki (or in what if format by the salad bar)

Out of the "Big 3 Shonen" it's the second best imo. Waaay better written and better characters than Naruto but One Piece is a more consistently better written story.

The fact that Kamina´s father ignited that spark of wanting to leave underground and even after Kamina´s death it managed to beat the anti-spiral, not even knowing they existed is just comically epic, even with the tyrant measures they took they still got their just desserts. I really like the story despite all the silly business that makes it fun there is a cosmic threat far from understanding yet despite looking invincible their fear of the spiral power was in the end VERY real.

I have heard a lot of people who have commented that they were upset that Yuji wasn't the one who got to kill Mahito, after defeating him. I feel like that is a big part of missing what Nanami would have wanted. He knew what Yuji was going to face and would have to be put through (The part where Yuji first has to kill people that Mahito has turned into "monsters" is the first part of this.). He would have been pleased that Mahito was defeated, for the protection of everyone; but he never would have wanted Yuji to be put in the position of having to take satisfaction in killing someone -- anyone, because it is a terrible thing, and the world is full of terrible things already. It ended like it should have.

Currently reading Bleach for the first time also (at Volume 7 atm) and really like it a lot so far. I have heard that it goes into completly different directions down the line but i really loved the Urban Fantasy aspect so far. It does remind me a lot of YYH but it also has such a unique, chill but creepy vibe going for it. Also Kubo is a master at writing and designing characters. Legit the only issues i have with it so far are a few minor nitpicks. Am really excited to see more, not just from the manga but also from you.

For me one of the charms of HxH manga, is the fact u can clearly know Togashi by his art. U can feel his evolution, is current situation, his state of mind, his opinion and phylpsophycal questions. Art is something i dont joke about, im in love by it, is a part of me no one can take away, and my fav kind of art is, without doubts, story-telling, so i respect Mister Togashi's work with HxH, as i can both appreciate what turn out to be one of my fav series and such a talented human being as this man, tho i do not agree with all his actions, his jorney is encourging and im honored to get the chance to read and watch his work. That said, in my non-important opinion, no one should draw HxH instead of Togashi, but he also doesnt need to fear asking for help. We'll lose big part of what makes HxH amazing (That's, the coversation btw the art and the text), but firtsly mister Yorishiro also gotta think about his own well being, and asking for help is never a shame, theme he works a lot in his chacters.

Kageyama is called a "King" for a reason. His personality, his life changes among with his struggles and experiences combined, all make him fit for that name. And his role has been the biggest one in the entire Haikyuu series. He was the most misunderstood character, but he is known as the most genius and talented player, Karasuno team has ever been gifted with. No one cares more about the team than Kageyama does and if Daichi wasn't the captain, Tobio would take that place with ease. Because he had experience being one in his old middle school team as well.

In my opinion he's evil due to a lack of remorse he went through hell so he might have not been in his right mind but later he shows no remorse. That tells me he's evil.

I dont care about Causality. I dont care if he was in that dungeon and tortured for another 50 years. He could've chosen to die or join the Godhand. He chose the latter. What's next... "The Joker did nothing wrong"? You aren't 2000 IQ 4-dimensional beings. You're psychopaths. I am only thankful that you live out your psychopathy through Griffith instead of emulating him in real life

As someone whos fav arc is Greed island, i have to say the only mistake from Togashi in this arc was not emphatize an idea he putted in the table, the fact the players think GI is just a game. That concept would make "silly" like motivations (such as Genthurus) more reasonable, it also wouldnt change much of the tone, at least for me. That idea of "its just a game" and the scapismn of reality can go both ways, as a relaxing tool just like most people use games for, and also a runaway from the real world and real consequences to actions, it fits perfecly with the mindsets of our protagonists (Gons time) and antagonists (Genthurus team) respectively, that could set the viewers in a bigger understanding of such chacters without making anything darker or complicated, at least for me. Any thoughts?

Most people look at Wrath through the lens of "wrath" meaning "rage." I'd say his emotions are far more encompassing, as there are many types of anger, with one I want to focus on being frustration. Wrath longs for freedom of choice, yet has his singular choice held hostage by Father. Wrath yearns to take action, yet is forced to hide under false identity as King Bradley. Wrath shows interest in family, yet is forced to pretend parent to Pride. All of this internal frustration is redirected towards humanity. Wrath perceives humanity as having more access to freedom, action, and family than he ever did, but believes them to be wasting all of it. That misunderstanding of humanity, and his obedience towards his captor, are the tragedies of his character. Presumably Wrath dies in peace because Father no longer has control over him in that moment, as he is forced off the rails he speaks of. His final moments are his alone.

if you say "it's filler" you have a low attentionspan. the episode has jesse and walt focus on such a minor issue they start to reflect on some major points in the show, the plain crash, jane, when walt thinks he should die. all the long pauses and intense moments make it a very interesting episode

Kaido did not believe in the fact that devil fruits could actually make some one a victor on their own instead he focused on polishing his haki and mentioned the likes of Roger and oden who achieved their status only through the use of haki but kaido fails to realise that devil fruit awakenings can also be an important factor in achieving your goals and the flexibility in mind one needs to achieve this is equally as essential as being someone who is masterful at haki"a power system that's extremely rigid and has clear cut levels and him not awakening his devil fruit atleast it's not visually proven because he had a limited mindset because awakenings only happens to those who have their mind catch up to the rapid imagination needed for a devil fruit awakening.

He has a lot of weaknesses currently. The only reason why he is alive is that the hunters are attempting to abide by the rules concerning who will be the next king. Under separate circumstances he would already be dead. But the circumstances are what create the intrigue, depth, suspense and mastery of the writing... Since he's been a spoiled brat his whole life, his likely strength and endurance are far below most hunters and phantom troupe members. Speed alone he wouldn't be able to acquire the years of training needed to build his muscles etc that others have had within the time limit of the boat ride. His main caveat will be how he uses his extremely unique technique and his partnership with his Nen beast. He might be even faced with extreme drawbacks from the ability. I doubt from the one time it was shown that we are given a full rundown of its power. Many of the abilities in hunter x hunter have their explanations to their weaknesses with them. Large cool down times would be a huge draw back, since if anyone realizes what his ability is, it would only take a relentless and consecutive onslaught to gain the results of his demise. Creative drawbacks could also be applied such as him currently being unaware that every time he uses the ability, just like Kurapika's use of an overpowered ability shaves off life from him. It could be doing the same thing to this Nen user as well. I think it's his potential which makes him the most dangerous. Since he can change fate he might be able to change the fate of others. The murder of what was meant for one he can suddenly intervene, but unknowingly to anyone else on the ship, and create even more chaotic circumstances. Simply by ironically, not isolating himself. And becoming more involved.

I used to think sports anime was dumb. Just like regular anime. Yet, just like anime itself, I gave it a shot. At first each series that I enjoyed I thought was an exception. Over time I realized that I hadn't seen one that I didn't like. There was a time when I thought watching an anime about running would be beneath me. But now that I consider an anime about building friendship through fishing to be an all time favourite, I think I'll give this one a try.

The interesting thing about Netero saying that he might agree with the ant king if he didn't end the fight quickly is that their two outlooks were getting very similar by that point. As you said, Netero designed the Hunter exam to be a place where "a select few" would be allowed to succeed and live on as hunters. Comparing that with the ant king saying that he would allow a select few humans to live if they proved themselves, the only difference would be that it applied to all of humanity instead of those who wish to be hunters.
