3:48 "SPAAAAACE GHOOOOOST!" Seriously though, Dreamfinders seems like such a great lost. Could've had potential given the success of Journey Into Imagination that has since been destroyed too T_T

I think the red team got shortchanged on the heroes and villains station. They should have gotten 4 contraptiles instead of 3, but I guess it doean't matter, because their lead would have still been so small that the blue team would have still won with one correct answet more than the red team in the magic category.

That will be... MICKEY MOUSE!!! Because there ARE every man OR woman (from all past Disney Channel programs and used from the audience) and every boy OR girl (also on every past Disney Channel programs and also from the audience) which did command the "30-second" countdown, but in the Disney satellite (in space) and at Mouse-ta-piece Theatere (on Earth) for the launch of the Disney Channel. The countdown began at 19:31 and Mickey switches up at 19:58. But before, there are a lot of Disney Channel programs and movies on-screen. Also for a news report for the launch of that brand new channel. After the countdown and the lever switch, there is a satellite beam going up to the sky, which is at 20:05. After, the logo for the Disney Channel was shown on-screen with fireworks behind it at 20:11. And that's it. We saw some programs coming out, like its first program, Good Morning, Mickey, which came out from 1983 to 1992. That is why because someone that is better to flip the switch up than the main mouse himself. But... IT IS PERFECT!!! IT IS THE BEST THING THAT I SAW!!! AND IT IS GREAT THAT THE DISNEY CHANNEL HAS LAUNCHED!!! YES!!! Oh my gosh.

It’s interesting to say just how different does a channel used to be. As someone who watched Disney Channel is the 2000s.

Does anybody know how many times they actually used this 60-second intro on the air? When The Disney Channel started restoring original anthology series intros in the 1990s, they missed this one except in the 30 second cut they already used as the all-purpose version for TDC reruns from about 1986 to 1997/1998 when everything old got pushed to Vault Disney.

I hope somebody discovers that full instrumental track and uploads it. It sounds like Disney gave NBC a copy of the opening theme without vocals rather than one of the closing themes (like they would later do for *The Golden Girls* ). Somebody still has to have that.

Well what do you know!!!I just watched a movie yesterday that was a lot like this one. It was about an 11 year old boy who got lost in the wilderness. He was found by a young aboriginal boy named Zane and Zane blindfolded him and took him to his village where there was a colony of his people. Bobby and Zane became friends in spite of only understanding a few words of each other’s language. Zane was captured by the townspeople and a doctor put him in a hospital to study him and he wanted to find the hidden valley to capture some of the aboriginal people to study them. Bobby had a terrible time trying to get Zane back to his people. It was a totally unrealistic movie but if you would be able to ignore the things in the movie that were❤ ❤❤just plain stupid and would never have happened it was an ok movie.

40 years ago, Disney Channel was the BEST network around. Until today’s generation just gone WAY downhill until if they could putting more stuff to understand of Walt Disney be proud of one visionary talent to give us something in better entertainment. I hope today’s youths will understand of what we’ve been through to see those shows growing up. Great vid. 😊

Not only this version has better detail and color, it also has a wider viewing aspect, you can tell by comparing this with the VHS recording that there is a edited black bar on the left, reason for it is to cover up some technical goofs. At 30:53 you can see a ladder on the left side and a visible hand at 31:04 you can see someone’s had shaking some white particles on the left. There might be more but that is what I have found so far.

This show was built around recycling pre-existing content in addition to new content, so it’s no surprise this continued into the 1980s and 1990s.

RIP Ron miller, Diane Disney’s husband. I used to watch the Disney channel in the early 2000s. They used to air classic movies, documentaries, specials and other educational and fun content that was entertaining and engaging. I stopped watching to because they went to a different direction to target the young teenage demographic with more live action mediocrity, stale telefilms and very few animated programs that were unfairly cancelled after a short period. Now Disney channel is possibly going to shut down int he United States due to the majority of America no longer watching television and instead stream content on the internet

I've really taken a shine to these old vintage Disney movies here lately. I have never seen most of them before some of them were before my time but these movies have a good feel to them. I think I will just watch them for awhile instead of the new stuff that is out.
