Hey brother I have the same truck ac cold as hell when driving just had the ac compressor changed but when I’m at idle the ac sucks at cooling is that all these trucks that are like that ?

Vehicles are putting a lot of loads on the battery , Start Stop especially , they cycle the battery twice has hard unless you can turn it off that’s why they use AGM which will recover twice has fast as flooded batteries and they last twice as long but in those applications you should see 3-5 yrs . Today 2024 there are two major MGF that are producing batteries in the United States they are Clarious former Johnson Controls and East Penn Family Owned in Pennsylvania since 1946 .

Loosen the nut on the trans mount down to the end of the threads. Leave the nut on. Get a bottle jack and a block of wood. Jack the trans up via the stud with the nut on the bottom until it bottoms out. The extra two inches raised should give enough space to remove the pan. Works like a charm on the GMT 800's.

When my transmission got hot like that in my avalanche, I just change the transmission cooler to tru cool transmission cooler and never had any problems after that
