is there a lot of documentation that takes hours to complete? I did home health and i decided it wasn't for me due to the hours i had to spend on a tablet documenting. Is it like home health in that sense?
@nurse_krizia4 күн бұрын
@@rochellegarcia4849 I’ve used about 5-6 different charting systems and I feel like the charting system definitely affects how long documentation takes. The one I use can be done in about 10-15 minutes for regular visits and an hour for SOC/recerts

Bruh... you're spending a fortune on tools that barely teach you anything. That kind of stuff is good for the first tutorial on the bare basics. Ya know, the one your school should have given you. After that you only get better by doing them. This just wastes the time and money of anxious people.
@nurse_krizia7 күн бұрын
@@kaboomsihal1164 there’s nothing wrong with being able to practice and build confidence in your skills. Some may be anxious in front of actual patients. This has helped me practice comfortably at home, learn placement of my supplies, hand coordination, etc thousands of times. To each their own.
@kaboomsihal11647 күн бұрын
@@nurse_krizia that stuff doesn't teach you shit. It's good for just seeing the basic steps in action once or twice before doing it on a patient. But whether you spend 2 hours on these or 500 you will be at the exact same level when you actually decide to learn. If you have anxiety around procedures on patients walking through the steps can be helpful but you don't need a few hundred pounds worth of equipment. And quite honestly practicing on this stuff for longer than the very first introduction to the procedure because you're scared just makes you more and more anxious.
@ashleyLUVSxmas5 күн бұрын
@@kaboomsihal1164 all I can say is if I was a nursing student or whatever I would prefer to practice at home because you dont have people watching u and you can do it as much as u need, I understand its not that simple for everyone but this is my opinion.
