Hang on, surely a microwave contains electronics, so that doesn't seem like the way that they are segregated.

that will be in parallel, 12 volts, not many victron units run at 36 volts., batteriers are buggered,

Are the IP2X covers still to fit on the contactor links in the gateway enclosure !! Or is the busbar from the contactors left like that?

Odd that for a house of that value they've gone with ubiquity wifi access points.

Have you got a video explaining all these kw ratings, 5kw solar system means what, 5kw at what voltage ? UK mains? 48kw battery's at mains voltage or another voltage, I don't understand

What's your estimate for total days of avg power usage that UPS can deliver for that size household? What a cool system!
@artisanelectrics5 сағат бұрын
Depends on their usage and the solar generation but in theory it’s infinite

@5:22 "step1:Unflod" ... good to see they're spell checking all their materials. This is the second or third time I've seen these exact looking modules, but under different brand names.

Sadly not available in the US but it looks like a pretty nice system!

Available in US but with another brand name called PointGuard.

LiFePO4 still catches on fire. The GenX big battery supplied by Tesla near Rockhampton Australia did so last year. Why anyone would install one of these inside a building and not in an engineered structure to manage fire is mind boggling.

Bad ass setup ... can you come and put one in my condo here in Atlanta? You should install a mini nuclear reactor down there while you're at it.

Great video. I've ordered a Sigenergy system for my single phase home, 16x (2x8) 455w solar, 6kW inverter and a 5kWh+8kWh batteries. Waiting on G99 DNO approval. Would love to see more in depth app workings with the AI and TOU tariffs etc.

Micro inverters are in the technology but I don't think they're as versatile as having a straight DC system with optimizers. And that's a lot of micro inverters to upgrade at a later date plus there's heat issues on the roof so it kind of makes sense to keep the large amount of the electronics out of the heat. But it's definitely an option. And I don't know if things have changed but there at one time was no consideration for using them in grid down situation I would hope that might've changed but it does complicate the process a lot.
