Hey Andy! Thank you for your professional tutorials! I’m a noob Affinity user and ran multiple times to an error, so may I give an advise to all of your audience? When you are drawing your mask, check which color you using (white or black). I did everyrthing that Andy said, but not worked. Then I realised, I’m using the black color, so I “removed” the mask, not painted it :D Good luck everybody! Happy editing!

Hi - I have an Ipad Pro 11 inch - just got it a few months ago (March 2024) so I believe its the 2022 with an M2 chip. I wasn't able to access a photo from the Photos App by drag and drop (it let me "open" photos - but no photos appeared when I dragged it up onto the right of my screen) - how disappointing! I was excited when I saw you drag and drop. Is there some setting I need to change somewhere to allow this? I can use the OPEN DOCUMENT with a USBC card reader with card inserted. Seems to be the only way to access raw images to "edit". I cannot access my Icloud drive and see photos on the ipad either. I am thinking this is a security feature.

How do we get free assets for images we can sell as prints after editing using Affinity Photo 2? Will we get copyright issues later on?

You should open several RAW photos at the same time, because normally photographers edit tens and hundreds RAWs from one photoshooting and they can't spend a lot of time on opening only one photo and then next one, and then open again etc. From this video I cant really understand can Affinity on IPAD replace Lightroom, Adobe Camera Raw and Capture One on PC...

2 years later, and PS iPad is still soo freaking cobbled. I had AP v1 years ago. I discovered today my upgrade universal license still applies! AP v2 blows PS out of the water in iPad, STILL! I will be looking into Darkroom, and hopefully ditch my adobe sub. I am only a hobbyist, now. So, I have been tossing money to them for years, just to use the programs from time to time. I bought and iPad Pro M2, and photoshop on it made me so livid! Thanks for the vids, mate!

By default the brush tool has 3 sliders : Accumulation, Flow and Size. The Accumulation slider can be switched to Opacity but once I change the brush colour it goes back to Accumulation. Is it possible to make it stay at Opacity? Same problem with the second slider which goes back to Flow every time I touch the brush colour.
