Kitson's butchers shop in Northallerton do beautiful pork pies, they are made in the shop every day. People come from miles away just for them.

😂😂 funniest video to date, you couldn't make this up...yapping dogs, noisy motorbikes, & cars, getting the date of the bridge wrong, Helen talking on her phone while James is giving out info....very funny , Benny Hill would be proud. ( On a serious note, please try the cinnamon powder and honey in hot water...a natural anti inflammatory recipe and it works ) ps..got the wife hooked on you two now 😂 keep doing what your doing, it's natural and entertaining.

It’s not suffering government cuts. It’s suffering incompetence and unnecessary spending from the council. Wasting millions on vanity projects in the centre of town that they have driven businesses out of and hindered consumers from easy access to. The sheer lack of self awareness as to why they have bankrupt the town is astounding.

This bridge is a wonderful icon of industrial revolution history and British industrial ingenuity of its time. To call it noisy (tho it may be) is somewhat ignorant and dismissive of its place in our history.

I was born in Clacton in the great freeze of 1963, in a nursing home a few roads along from the station. It was a beautiful place to grow up in & in the 1960’s/70’s people would dress up in their best clothes just to go shopping. Fast forward to today, yes, it’s gone downhill to a certain extent mainly due to the druggies & drunks that mainly frequent the town centre. I left Clacton when I got married at 21 but popped back frequently to visit my parents up until their demise between 2008-2015 & saw things gradually change for the worse in various ways. Clacton itself is wonderful but the people themselves have changed. The bridge over the road that leads to the pier, my father took a photo of my mother holding me on the bridge as a few month old baby, I still have the photo.

I see what you meant about the noise. I listen through 2×100w amp Tannoy speakers and even I got fed up with it. The houses below the bridge as beautiful the setting is are prone to flooding so don't buy anything below 20m.. Great video however only down the road from me in Shrewsbury 👍👍👌

There used to be signs up around St. Ives saying "Please do not feed the seagulls as they can become aggressive"! My partner saw one literally take food out of a man's mouth scratching his face in the process. May 2024.

I did chuckle with anticipation when I heard that bloke with a small winkle revving his bike 😂 They can't serve pork pies at room temperature but you could have waited while it warmed in the sun a minute 😂😂😂😂 It is that bad Helen! I can tell by how much walking up hill was making you limp! The hip op is really easy and after not even being able to lift my foot up onto my footrest I am now riding my motorbike with ease! Really Helen, it's so worth doing, you wouldn't be sorry 😊 That was really enjoyable, cheers 😊 Hope you're enjoying your little holiday 😮💜

Excerpt form 'A Shropshire Lad' by dear old John Betjeman - my favourite poet of all time: ... There wasn't a man in Oakengates That hadn't got hold of the tale, And over the valley in Ironbridge, And round by Coalbrookdale, How Captain Webb the Dawley man, Captain Webb from Dawley, Rose rigid and dead from the old canal That carries the bricks to Lawley. Rigid and dead - Rigid and dead - To the Saturday congregation, Paying a call at Dawley Bank on the way to his destination. 🥸
