Good points! I was an avid Clash Mini player, hardly missing a day of play time in those 2.5yrs. It REALLY stung when I heard this announcement for Squad Busters on CMs death. Like trampling their grave. I decided to try SB since I pre registered for COC rewards lol. Cant judge something before experiencing it right. And you are SPOT ON! Its sooooo addictive!! Couple things I saw as well to add to your reasons: the progression! CM had a hard time with resources and progression. This SC game is way different. Instead of paying to upgrade, you collect to upgrade and pay to earn more rewards and benifits in battle. Big reason the p2w aspect isn't toxic like Clash Royale is because you only need top 5 to get rewards. I understand why SB beat out CM. Its unfortunate we cant have both, but I'm glad I tried SB.

Clash Mini was just a Walmart version of Royal. Thank god Supercell didn’t went global with this. It always looked bland and plain to me.

Idk, maybe they killed clash mini for looking too similar to clash royale? Think about it, they sell these games for the general audience, if you show to a normie a pic of clash royale and clash mini side to side they would think it's the same game. Just for the record I am having tons of fun in squad busters but I cannot deny how pay to skip it is. The payed season pass gives just soooo many coins in comparison to the free one, like over 10 times more it's ridiculous, the game can die fast if they keep at it.

7:05 the only reason squad busters is more popular is because it was kinda forced onto us in a way, if clash mini went global I feel like it would've become more popular. I do love both games either way, I'm just sad they got rid of clash mini without really giving it more of a chance.

Tbh Squad Buster’s is surprisingly one of the games I had most fun with for a long time. (But that is with every supercell game)

Squad busters appealed to a larger fandom because it had characters from most games while clash mini only appealed to clash of clans and clash royals fans

Clash mini was perfect for the strategic player from clash royale and clash of clans,but most kids these days like casual or skill based games,something that brawl stars and squad buster focus now

I have like 0 space. I have so many special decorations from like all the events. I think I have every christmass tree from like 2014 on wards and most special halloween and others. I also have like 3 or 4 of some. Only problem I am lacking shovels to move them. I havent had a ''normal'' bush or tree since like 3 years now. My base is litterally filled. It sucks that the shovels are hard to come by and I need like at least 60+. and even if you could buy them I dont because I dont really like spending my irl money on that. if I do I rather spend it on something else then those...

I have both maxed th16 and a th14 progression, maybe they should do something more for the weekend players. Maybe something along the lines of maxed troops on the weekends so lower townhalls can test and see how it’s like to play with those army comps.just a thought.

People still don't understand that what makes a game good is the "feel" of it rather than the mechanics/gameplay. There used to be a magical aura around the highest TH level. That's gone now, and people feel it.

The only thing to blame for clash mini's death were the devs. The devs were wonderful and so was the community manager. But overal execution of clash mini was awful. They had no plan going for them and decided to rush and upload clash mini to an open beta without it EVER closing. Almost 2 years of open beta and by the last update they still had no idea where to take the game. There was a vision with squad busters. No surprise here for why it went global
