They're fighting each other from the beginning of Myanmar history (Tagaung era). And Sukapha , the first king of Ahom Kingdom was also Shan sub_tribe and born in Mong Mao Kingdom(Tai Shan Kingdom)

@@bck70 Shan State was under Bamar influence since the start of Ava Kingdom.Chinese are also starting to influence Shan States after Ming _ Mong Mao war . Ming also defeat strong rebellion from Tai people (Mong Mao) . During Min Kaung I era , Yongle invade Ava from Hsenwi . Ming Kaung I sent Min Ye Kyaw Swar ( a.k.a Burmese Baldwin IV ) to counter Ming and Tai alliance forces. From that time , Chinese influence is lower in Tai states and Bamar influence is starting to grow till the end of Kongbaung empire

@@unknownperson96969 Ava was ravaged by the combined force Britain, Gurkha and Manipur. Thereby liberating the Shan state called the kingdom of Kong since 78 ad with the first ruler Khul Lai, also called Pong in Manipuri. Manipur was again defeated by British in 1891.

@@bck70 Don't wrong Ava Kingdom (1365-1555) with Kong baung empire (1752-1885) . Manipur and Gurkha forces are just conscripted by British to reduce their casualties. During First Anglo _ Burmese war, many Portugal , Hindu and Muslim division are also under Royal Burmese Army Command. British and Manipur alliance forces from Chittagong did nothing during the war. They also felt heavy casualties during Battle of Ramu and Royal Burmese Army capture Asam and Manipur at the start of the war. The turning point for the war was Battle of Yangon . British naval force led by Archibald Campbell attack Yangon on 11 May 1824 by surprise. That changed the cause of the whole war. And I'm not talking about Shan States after British invasion and I'm taking about Tai States which is from the start of Myanmar history. Yes, Tai states are often influenced by Bamar and Chinese after the fall of Mong Mao Kingdom. Sukapha , the first king of Asam Kingdom is the prince of Mong Mao . So, yes Asam and Manipur are related with Tai /Shan but basically, Tai aren't Manipur/Asam natives. But Asam/Manipur are native of Tai/Shan and came from them.

If your saying any governments supporting Ukraine are making money from that conflict, your most definitely wrong. Ukraine has no monetary value for any country to profit from. The reason why so many different countries are helping out Ukraine in that conflict is to keep Russias wars from spreading into the neighboring NATO counties like Poland. Around 8000-10000 strong. That area is considered big and is now under complete control of TNLA. Southern Shan State is complicated with overlapped controls of SSPP, RCSS, PNA, PNLA, KNDF and Junta. East is MNDAA, UWSA and NDAA with UWSA having a separate territory near south as well. UWSA, NDAA, SSPP and RCSS are considered neutral at the moment. PNA is with the Junta. MNDAA is not a freedom fighter, being an Ethnic army, they have their own interests.

Because either looks like TNLA has nearly captured all of northern Shan state, only this small part above them is not under their control. If the junta control it why didn’t they push them out and if it’s another ethnic army who is it?

The enclave is SSPP territory surrounding Muse, the border town controlled by the Junta.

@@Greatshadowfighter I honestly don’t think MNDAA has plans to go further south since there are other actors in the region such as SSPP, RCSS and PNO. But they are probably the most competent fighters around the region. Their air defence is nowhere near enough for fighter jets and they need other means to protect the territory such as diplomacy with UWSA and China.

@@tianmingchen-mc7xd Unlikely. Kokang region population itself is around 150,000. Not all Chinese ethnics in Myanmar support them. Even with the added population from additional territories, 20-30K might be the maximum sustainable stretch.
