As Joe says, stop eating for two. People can’t get enough food. It’s amazing. How can the body take it year after year? Eventually, it can’t and big pharma is waiting for you with their greedy open arms forever. Then it’s too late. No dr no meds age 69. Livin’ to 100. Up to 5,400 100 yard sprints for the season. Most days 2x30. Goal 10,000 by Halloween. Interesting, quite a few walkers in the park, but no one has asked to join in. lol.

great comparison. People don't think about how living with chronic debilitating diseases like heart attack, stroke, or cancer will cause pain and disability like a shark attack. A recent study reveals that deaths due to excess body fat and obesity have now overtaken smoking-related deaths in people older than 45. obesity rates are climbing, putting people at higher risk for many deadly diseases, including cancer and heart issues. Social media icons trying to sell an old idea and calling it something else. They want to sell you an idea that is really just common sense. I prefer Trainer Joe’s philosophy, Trainer Joe is not trying to reinvent the wheel, he wants to motivate people to make better decisions with their nutrition. Add some exercise and you can lose weight as long as you are in a caloric deficit.

I’m 220lbs and for my height I should be around 120lbs so I’m starting this today. I have everything I need to start but I think I will do a protein shake instead of the protein bar and oatmeal only because I don’t have that but that could change in 6 months lol but this first month that’s what I’ll be doing. I walk 3 miles 1 hour in the morning, sometimes again in the evening I’m 63yo woman who only started walking 3 months ago and I could barely walk 1mile. This weekend I walked 10 miles fasted no food that day. Down 4.5 pounds by the next day yes I know some of that is water but I kept 2 pounds off and continue losing

Some people can "do it on their own". There are a lot of videos, books, websites, etc. out there for them. Most will do much better by following someone's specific program. TJ's is great for those people. I did two 21-day Transformations followed by a full year on Phase 2. If you do what he says, it works. You do NOT have to do the exact 21-day program forever, but you will probably need to make some permanent changes (mostly to your thinking, second to your eating).

Sounds to me like she’s looking for an out, and feels she’s not be successful, before she even gets started. I’d give her her money back, and be done with it. It was helpful for my hubby and me to have the handbook prior the first meeting, because we were then prepared. We were hugely successful, and have kept our weight off for 18 months. I did Joes program and I did terrible but that was on me completely. Joe really does give you all the information and motivation you need but I just couldn’t stop eating off plan…I wish I would have done it to the letter but I guess I wasn’t ready. Hopefully I will be soon.

I think the food list ahead of time is ok but doing the videos ahead of time is not part of the plan unless she had a good reason like work schedule etc but I think the program is set up to do as a group with a beginning and an end

Joe I have left you this story before but maybe someone will read this and it will help them. I watched your video how to lose a hundred pounds in 6 months. I followed the simple meal plan you laid out to the letter. It was simple and I could do it. I have lost 72lbs and have 35 to go. It works people stop making the excuses and do it already. It is life changing stop the bs, stop the excuses and get it together. I love the straight forward approach because I WAS READY. Just go get it done. God Bless and Good Luck.

On one hand, you may have dodged a bullet giving her a refund. If she’s already complaining and the program hadn’t even started yet, that would tell me she could’ve been a very needy client full of more complaints. On the other hand, she got what she wanted and seemed to me she was just having buyers remorse and found a good excuse to get out of the deal. When people sign up to take a class, whether it be small engine repair, sewing, or learning a different language, they don’t register for the class and then complain that they can’t show up a week before everyone else. It’s common sense, I mean the teacher isn’t even in the room yet and she’s wanting to get started. If she were that excited to get going, she wouldn’t have asked for a refund, so that tells me it was just buyers remorse and she wasn’t really interested in making a change. But the burden should have fallen on her and you didn’t need to give the refund, however very generous of you.

Hey guys, to everyone struggling with addiction to food for whatever reason (stress, emotional eating, depression, divorce, loss of someone, etc), I have gone through ALL OF THAT for many years, but I'm here to tell you there is light at the end of the darkness, Trainer Joe's program REALLY WORKS IF YOU WORK IT!! Discovering Trainer Joe's videos was a blessing from God to me personally, because I had hit my rock bottom, and then the "How to lose 100 lbs in 6 months" randomly popped up on my KZfaq feed! That video really spoke to me for whatever reason, the unintended sarcasm and humor in it caught my attention, and I started my journey the very next day. I started the program 65 days ago and have lost 40 lbs as of today, still have 60 to lose to reach my goal. It gets easier every day because your stomach will shrink. When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is drink 24-30 oz water to hydrate and fill my stomach, and I drink 3-4 liters of water total per day, that curbs my hunger a lot. I see comments about salad dressings, I have actually found a brand in the supermarkets where I live (Los Angeles), called Bolthouse Farms that offers many low calorie dressings at 35,40, 50 calories per 2 tablespoons, and the four flavors I bought are delicious. You can use 1 tablespoon to cut those calories in half as well. I also like using balsamic vinegar, lemon and salt / pepper blended with Dijon mustard. I bought lots of spices and herbs that add a TON of flavor to my salads and protein, you won't believe what a game-changer herbs can be! To everyone reading this comment, if I can do it, YOU can do it, because once you start and see results, your source of happiness will come from your achievement on the scale instead of unhealthy foods. There are days that I still get triggered, like when I see food commercials, food network cooking channels, or if I'm at the dessert isle at the grocery store, but I just turn away and walk away because I know that is my vice, that is my "drug of choice" and it is poison to my body. I have learned to have will power and self-control, mind over matter. And believe me once you start losing that first 20, 40 lbs, the last thing you will want is to undo your progress. When I'm out with friends and family, I say "NO" to bad foods because now I think with my brain instead of my stomach. I hope my comment will help someone who is going through the same struggles, God bless.

I love Trainer Joe’s no nonsense approach to getting it done. The first time I watched one of his videos, that line of his “You’ve been eating for you plus a whole other person” made me laugh so hard because it resonated with me. I watched a couple more videos and it was like a light switch went on. I finally put my foot down, stopped making BS excuses to myself, threw away / gave away all the bad food in my house and started my journey, 65 days ago. I’m down 39 pounds and my mind set has completely changed about food. I haven’t touched a single morsel of bread, carbs, fried foods, ice cream, desserts, etc. it’s was very hard because I ate those foods daily. But no one said it was going to be easy, it took me years to damage my body so it will take time and commitment to fix it. I just think I finally hit my own personal rock bottom and I knew if I didn’t change my bad habits, my life expectancy would decline each year. I eat very minimal calories, for me the trick to add lots of herbs / spices to large salads and low calorie soups to add flavor without adding dressings. I keep rewatching Trainer Joe’s videos to keep me motivated and going.
