Apparently the sun is melting down right now....the internet apocalypse is the least of our worries. I'd like a video on humanity's obsession with disasters and end times.....There's a fair number of us who remember life before the webs, we'll be okay.

The ideal form of a magnetic field is a sphere. Why don't we construct a spherical ship with a kind of superconductive permanent magnet that can be electrically amplified if necessary? The thick shell inside the sphere could also be shielded in the conventional way and individual layers could be polarized differently.

Simple hypothesis that I thought of: the physics of motion work the same regardless of time direction. If it is forward or backwards, it would work the same therefore, if it shoots out water and spins clockwise, sucking in water should therefore mean anticlockwise spin.

Because it is porous, will it not attract dirt and moss, requiring more maintenance and being less appealing for some architecture applications?

Fascinating. I'd be curious to see how it holds up outdoors with rain, specifically around fungal and algae growth, and how that growth affects the reflectivity.

Something I don't understand is why these Antiquated Technologies are still being considered when virtually every government including the US government has openly admitted to the very real existence of flying saucer technology in short. Has somebody who is reasonably well versed in such Technologies: I will say that the actual structure of the craft itself and the subsequent electromagnetic fields generated by the external hulls and in some cases sub-hulls of a majority of these kinds of craft generate fields that originate from the hull itself usually as a product of the propulsion systems used which are usually electromagnetic in nature however can also be plasma based as well, plasma craft however usually rely more on transdementional traversal of space-time more than physical propulsion systems.

Well considering the pandemic was a man made construct to gain control and then a vaccine was pushed that was just as dangerous as the pandemic for monetary gain for the companies that pushed them. No thanks

We used to just build houses to not need AC. Doing all this stuff is just engineering our way out of problems we caused. Old houses all had breezeways so you could open the two main outer doors and cool down, for example.

The material's hydrophilic nature and porosity would make it such that mold would become a factor in decreasing its reflectivity significantly. The mold factor would have to be considered in the development.

I know your talking about exterior use to help buildings keep cooler. But with your later comment on it wanting it to repel heat, could you not use it indoors where you wish to keep the rooms your heating warm. Would it not repel the heat back into the room away from itself? That would make it completely amazing and useful for energy conservation.

Wonder how we could balance this with the desire to absorb heat from the sun in the summer. In like arizona and texas I could see this being massive. In like NY would it be offet?

The way it absorbes water means a few problems if not coated to prevent that "feature". As this means water getting into and freezing would break down the structure, mineralization would hapen as water evaporates and it could provide a great environment for biological growth. Possible to get the benefits of this well reducing the drawbacks, if you can find a sealent that wont interfere with the properties to much, and breaks down with heat. That way when the fire starts to cook them they suddenly can absorb that water. Though by that point not sure how effective that will be at actually helping, as major damage will be done already

what if you place $4 on red and $1 on 0/00/2 now you have 18 reds , 2 zeros and the black 2 ? ( American wheel ) or place a bet in 3rd dozen, and 2nd dozen plus 0/00/2 now you have 27 slots to land in and dealer only has 11, and you martindale it .

In practice it will be subject to degradation, and maybe most importantly, it will get dirty. Those are the conditions that we'd need to evaluate it under. Of course cost is another consideration.

Excellent description of the Beatles design. It's sad to think that some believe it just evolved. If anyone reading this is one of those, you should work for Boston Dynamics and tell them to leave a room full of parts by themselves... eventually, a robot will walk out.

How effective is the material when wet or grubby? Maybe the material (alumina is highly refractory) allows contamination to be 'burnt off' under hot sunshine.
