@@budgetprojectsbydavid5263@17:24, looks like you guys put back on the old top bushing, after saying that you only bought the spring+shocks and the other OE parts you guys didn’t buy/aren’t replacing looks to be still in good shape. Mine looks a little worse than yours, and I’ve been contemplating whether or not to replace that bushing or not. The part that Toyota says is the OEM actually doesn’t look like the old OEM part.

With the amount of ethanol in gasoline today it makes carbs plug up very easy nowadays. The fuel is mostly the problem now thats why we use addatives and run them regularly. Thanks for the video.

The stuff i run my car on is roughly 10% ethanol and my small gas engines do not like it at all. I seek out places to buy non-ethanol, which i believe to be 0% ethanol. I don’t have any experience with any amounts between 0% and 10%. Thanks for watching the video!

I have a question?! I watched your first video and went through the process as my drain would not stop running just like yours. Since I tapped on the relays, now it will not drain at all. The drain pump will not turn on. Do you think the chances are still the electric panel? Or should I change the pump instead…or also?!
@budgetprojectsbydavid5263
@budgetprojectsbydavid5263 2 ай бұрын
I would not change the pump. Start with the board. That seems to be everyone’s problem. There have been other posts on this video saying that they changed the pump first, to no avail.

One of the best vids I've seen. I still have to buy risers based on some pics when our house first was built. I have a landing in between floors. Any suggestions for that?
@budgetprojectsbydavid5263
@budgetprojectsbydavid5263 2 ай бұрын
The landing might require either some nail down hardwood flooring, with bullnose on the outside edge or maybe some sort of vinyl “fake” hardwood flooring to closely match the chosen stain. I have no advice on risers, as i’ve never had to deal with that. Best of luck with the project and thank you for your kind words!

I appreciate your courage showing us your process un-rehearsed. I was working on a lawnmower with this class of engine and made the same assumption about the primer bulb, so I feel better knowing I'm not the only one. With your help and tips on where to find the carburetor I successfully got the old mower running. THANK YOU!

I reached out to Mike, the truck owner, with your question. Here is his response: If I could redo it I would drop it a half inch to take pressure off the ball joints and it would still be level. Could probably even go the one inch setting and half close to level or maybe a half inch of rake. It’s only still at crawling speeds on rough ground. You speed up.. it butters out.

I just had a guy come out and charge me $124. Said I had to replace the computer. Then, I found your video. He wanted to charge me over $650s. Said the part alone was around 400. I said no and paid their fee. Why am I always having to fix my own stuff or pay for new. :( I am so glad I found your video. I have the exact washer you have. Pump running continuously with the 1E code. I sure hope I can do this and it works!. You make it look easy! I was gladly going to pay someone to fix my washer but I won't pay as much as he wanted to charge. That is crazy. Now to find the time...

Great video! I have the same motor with a Bravo 3 and I'm having an issue where it drops RPM and then catches when going into forward or reverse. The dealer is telling me it's normal and the computer is controlling it like a shift interrupt switch would on an alpha. Do you happen to have any video of yours going into forward and reverse to see if it's normal?

Here is a link to a video of what mine is doing when going into gear. The dealer swears this is normal but I've never had one do this, but mostly have been a Volvo guy. Also not sure why it came from a different account on my PC, so sorry about that! Also thanks for your time! kzfaq.infof-0JnqBha18?feature=shared
