Whoever approved this app update should be fired immediately. On my Galaxy S23 Ultra the app no longer works and is a blank screen. On my iPhone 15 Pro...the app can't find my system. Sonos needs to fix this mess asap

Why? Why? Why? Would you get rid of the volume slider % and the EQ??? And yes add the - and + on the ends of the volume slider. Come on Sonos. Common sense.

Thanks for watching yeah that was 2 of the features i used alot aswell specially that quick access to EQ was awesome to have. But Sonos will bring it back in the near future updates 🙏

Thanks for watching, yeah this isnt the first fiasco from Sonos. They did the same going from S1 to S2 but they still didnt learn from it 😂. Lets just hope they fix everything as soon as possible

Same problem with the new v8.0 on iOS: *True Play setup is stuck at "Continue"*. Once the phone is upside down and ready to listen to the sonar pings -> nothing happens, no pings, no option to move forward/backward. What an utter disaster !

@@thisishazno8536I think the issue Rayjay refers to is the *setup* of TruePlay. If your Sonos system was already setup for TruePlay *prior to the update*, you could be fine ?

Same issue here! When Iphone is upside down and click continue nothing happens. Hope this will be fixed in the next update

I have changed router and it is impossible to add update can't even open Sonos doesn't work at all can't access speakers/ update app or use old app.

Thanks for watching, DAMN that doesnt sound good at all. I have seen that people een updating to the old app threw searches on google. Try and do that, until they have fixed everything for the new app

Thanks for watching, that is a good question. But Sonos did the same thing when they went from S1 to S2 app. So it they didnt learn from that mistake but did it again 🙂

What a shocking update. It takes many attempts to connect now and so much does not work. Bring back the only system, it was absolutely fine.

Yeah i know but what worked for me is that i now have to have one of the speakers wired, after that ive had no issues connecting to Sonos app. Have you tried that? Yes Sonos did the same thing going from S1 app to S2 app and still didnt learn from their mistakes.

Thanks for watching, really? i have not had that for a good while now on the app. The plus and minus havent been there for a while on mine. Thanks for the positive feedback. Peter Pee is the champ when it comes to Sonos he is the reason i got into Sonos in 2019 🙂🙏

It is not only what is missing, this app is super slow and the features they kept are hard to find or now requires multiple screens to access them. The old version was good and NOBODY was asking to change it completely. SONOS if you are planning to launch new pricey speakers this year then this was a very stupid move pissing all the people who spend their hard money buying and upgrading your speakers

@@thisishazno8536 In the FB Sonos Group someone posted that if you are running music through your system prior to starting Trueplay that TP will actually run. I tried it with one of my Pandora Channels and it worked on both of my home theatre set-ups. Sonos will eventually get things sorted.

This new app is a major step backwards - kind of surprising that it is released???? I have 9 speakers and he old app worked fine - to play different music on different floors. This new app is so complex to try to select different speakers - and then have it work. I get a lot of ERROR messages. And to individually adjust volume is a hit and miss. We have two newer iPhones - and we have to hit the volume buttons some 6-7 times to get a response from this new app. (its as if the screen does not feel the touch) The old app had no such problems. PLEASE BRING THE OLD APP BACK !! Last 7 years I have got my friends into SONOS - this app will stop me recommending SONOS. Please do something rational here. !!!

There has been so many people that has similiar problems with the latest app version and i really hope that Sonos either fixes all the issues quick or atleast lets you guys go back to the old app until everything is fixed. There is some way to go back to the old version, i read something on reddit. Have you googled to see if that is possible?

WHY IS THIS TAKING SO LONG! THERE SHOULD BE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS COMPANY. Customers purchasing speakers, and the music will not continue to play without finagling the settings only for it to stop playing, again!

@@thisishazno8536 They're talking about screen readers and alarms when the core features of the app dont even work. It doesnt even recognise the device. It drops connection. It wont even let you add music to playlists. Its also slower than before. I cant believe they havent just admitted it was a mistake and said they will fix the core features FIRST.
