I find myself more drawn to Mozart's early piano concertos. For all the complexity of the later works, the early ones have a delightful simplicity and directness that grows more attractive with the passing of time. The playing here is delightful and engaging.

Il faut arrêter de tendre un micro à cette fraude de Philippe Cassard. Fraude comme pianiste, fraude comme pédagogue, et fraude comme critique musicale. Ses ingés sons racontent que dans certains de ses enregistrements, il demande à insérer d'autres enregistrements (d'Angelich notamment), car il n'arrive pas à jouer certains passages. C'est tout sauf un musicen authentique ou un grand homme, c'est une crapule.

Incredible! And hearing the difference between his playing on stage and what a couple of his many practice sessions at the piano could have sounded like! How he thoughtfully refined his technique to get to a place where his improvisation could flow on stage with spontaneity. Are there more home recordings of monk cooking up music in his kitchen?
