Maybe buy an actual set of tools ? Instead of using a literal "on-the-road packable emergency last resort multi tool" ? And understand by reading a manual first? If you did read the manual, then I'm sure the manual would have explained the redshift tilt system. Good luck with cycling!

Your expectations for quality in components should be in the toilet if you’re gonna spend that little on an e bike. The suspension and electric motor especially.. consider this a disposable bike. Get a summer out of it and then sell it before it breaks or throw it away because it’s already broken. That is if the cheap battery doesn’t burn your house down first

For some reason, I’ve noticed they price higher on their website than on Amazon. I’ve never seen it at $1000 on Amazon. It has danced around $700 for months as I’ve been shopping for it. It was even discounted below that when I purchased it several days ago. Under $650. Now it’s not even available on Amazon, showing temporarily unavailable. Looks like I might need to update that thumbnail soon if they don’t restock and keep the same price point on Amazon.🤦‍♂️ *EDIT: I've reached out to ActBest to see what is going on with the bike.

Hoping ebikes soon begin moving toward Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries as they will last much longer over time, and can be charged fully to 100% without nearly as much degradation. Their energy density is also improving each year from manufacturers so they will work great for ebike applications. LFP batteries are also much safer from runaway fires and best of all, are less expensive as well. Everyone should push towards LFP batteries if looking for the longest life over time.

Torque sensor may feel like a normal bike to a newbie and would be best for someone going up and down on a forest trail but other than that I feel a cadence sensor wins hands down. You have different gears on a bike to allow you to pedal at the same most comfortable and effecient rate regardless of speed of the bike. If your bike allows you to adjust your pas levels ( like on a Himiway Cruiser ) its really just adjusting the speed the bike wants to go as long as the pedals are being cranked. So if I can do 18 mph in 6th gear at the rate of pedaling I like and I can adjust my pas level 6 to 18 mph then its like cruise control at a constant speed regardless if I go up a bit of hill or reduce my effort for a short time. Constantly having to pedal hard on a torque sensor bike to go fast and its' speed slowing everytime I let up for a moment would be a pain. So I let off for a few seconds, the bike would slow down and now I am in the wrong gear when I start pedaling again. No thanks.

Levels of assistance should be based on power not speed.
@kevinmchale5660
@kevinmchale5660 10 күн бұрын
Disagree. Level of pas based on speed allows various pas levels to match the various gears. I can do 21-24 mph without pedaling super fast and my top pas level is set to 21 mph. And on my Himiway Cruiser I was able to match all the pas levels ( the speed the bike wants to go as long as the pedals are turning ) to each of the gears.

I spent over a month when the kickstand on my bike broke at 3 o’clock in the morning when I was asleep I literally heard it fall over and hit the floor. They dodged me for a month and when I bought a new kickstand they told me glad you got it fixed bye! Never mind the absolutely worthless front brake I had to replace myself with better components it would stop rattling and shrieking.

Its cadence for me but im thinking about a 2nd bike now for the Mrs and the torque sensor is on sale £400 cheaper for the same bike Himiway Zebra. Even if she's not up for a bike it will give me a 2nd battery to take on longer rides. So insteat of 35 miles i guess i could go 70 miles between levels 3 & 5 if the bottom will tolerate it 😂😂. I think I will have to upgrade the seat in thst case.

I guess I have to really try an ebike with a torque sensor. At the moment I have a Biktrix Kutty and with the cadence senor the "ghost pedaling" annoys me to know end. I'm spinning more quickly as you say a workout in the morning, but it doesn't take much before I'm ghost pedaling. I've even gone to the lengths of getting toe clips because I was finding my shoes close to slipping off the pedals.

1:04 bruh the thief will not be able to use "Find nearby" you can only because its your object matched with your phone (SUBI) otherwise you dont have that option, it will be ONLY the sound can anyone confirm ?
@VoltVlog
@VoltVlog Ай бұрын
It is a safety feature that Apple added a while ago, if the thief has access to a newer iPhone they will be able to find the device. When I was deep in testing last year, it took about 10-15 minutes of the device being with me before I had full access to using find near by. However, I also found that I could change the address in my phone for my home, even if it was just a couple hundred yards from where I picked up the tracker and only a couple of minutes it would also notify me that I had a tracker with me. I didn’t even have to scan to find it. I’m guessing the opportunistic thief might not know, but someone that knows what they are doing (both are out there) can find an AirTag in just a couple minutes. My buddy and I tested it extensively.

I was pretty much cruising around at 20mph for the majority of my testing. Or at least cranking it out at PAS5. On day 1 I got to 15 miles before I noticed the speed started dipping down to about 10-15 mph, and then mile 17-18 was a slow wind down to 6-8 miles an hour. On day two of riding, I did pretty much the same thing, with a little less hill climbing. I rode mostly @ 20mph and ended the ride at 11 miles. That was about half of the battery life. I did not experience any power loss at 11 miles on day 2. So I'm assuming, based on other bikes I've tested, the average ride will be 15-20 miles @20mph.

I don’t know why you would mess with this air tag or whatever they call it and not use the Apple one. The Apple one is much easier to get the speaker out of. I know I’ve done it. This is a ridiculous video. The Apple one actually will direct you to where is that and if you take the speaker out, no one else will know where it’s at but you…..!

In the video he showed that the Apple tag can be found quickly even without the speaker for anyone with the app. The non Apple tag is not permitted to use Apple's precise location tech, so it would buy you time as a thief would take longer to find it in a car or scooter, for example. That's what the video said.

The problem I see with the cadence sensor is that it would be hard to ride it like a bike. If I want a bike that does the work for me, I’d get a motorcycle, since I don’t see the purpose of limiting both your exercise and your speed. If it works for you, power on!

I started my 10 years of ebiking with BH bikes torque sensor equipped bikes. Then about 3 years ago I added a cadence sensor Ride1up 700 to the fleet. The torque sensor is the way to go if you are riding with the intention of having a good workout or if off roading on a regular basis and need precise control and immediate responsiveness. The cadence sensor is more appropriate if you want to make manage power consumption and maximize range. The only time I feel I have had any useful exercise on the Ride1Up with cadence is on trips where I am out for the day riding long enough to consume most of my battery. Really though if you just need transportation, cadence is fine or superior and almost any budget priced bike is fine. If you want a versatile, go anywhere machine and are a physically active type who can afford a better bike, you will have a torque sensor and love it. This video is quite accurate in its analysis.

Lectric has a bike now for sale for $1200 that has a torque sensor. Check it out. I have a bike with a cadence sensor and it has one thing I don't like. It can suddenly accelerate when least expected. If you are making a turn in loose gravel it can kick the front wheel out from under you putting you down in a fraction of a second. Just be aware of that if riding a cadence sensor.

I have the Kinekt one and have their cover to keep the dust and dirt out, and also got the seat post lock so someone can't just walk off with it their seat. I have about 8000 miles on it, and it is still doing good. What I also like is you can rebuild it, and get any part if one break, I have not had to rebuild my yet, I think that cover helps a lot! Plus, I like the weight limit being 330lbs so you know it is heavy duty and the different spring selections for your weight. I have it on my Himiway Zebra Ebike!
