Two years ago, Richard sang this to a group of 5th graders, and a Special Ed teach recorded it on her phone and posted it to TikTok. It got a lot of views, one of which was Steve Perry, who posted "I love this!", and recommended it on both TikTok and Twitter. The TikTok went viral, and got millions of views, one of which was by Howie. If you watch the video closely, Howie didn't recognize him at first, but once Richard said "I've been a janitor for 23 years", the light bulb went off, and Howie knew exactly what was coming. When Richard starting singing, and the jaws dropped on three judges, Howie was looking not at Richard, but at the other three judges to see their reactions, after which, he sat back smiling and enjoyed the performance. At the end, his hand was itching to hit the golden buzzer, but he couldn't decide, and Heidi beat him to it. Another person who saw the TikTok was a man names Rudy Cardenas, who had been on American Idol. A year ago Cardenas did a concert in Terre Haute, and he specifically looked up Richard, and prearranged to have Richard join him on stage to sing "Don't Stop Believing" with him, and there is a video of that concert on KZfaq. You can see the respect that both Cardenas and his band had for Richard, and the video was clearly a lot of fun for everyone in a low pressure setting. Now, AGT? That was a lot of pressure, and Richard was very nervous at first, but once the music started, he reverted to form and sang his heart out.

heres the newest and some of my favorite older ones....they just started youtube 10 months ago..... ................... Every week the Family learns 2 new songs...Its always a surprise ...........Sometimes it just the kids doing some Hard Rock or Pop Punk....then sometimes its the whole family doing Ska or Oldies or Philippine Pop or Gospel Tunes......Then its a full day setting everything up to record.....Then takes another day of Dad mixing sound..Then Mom has to edit....This week they did a Ska song Simmer Down and this classic surprised me........ ........I wonder how they choose if they take turns or draw names from a hat ??...Its pretty amazing to think they have never played this before...They just all learn their parts then set up the gear...and belt it out........ ………………………………. …………..
