@kyle_munoz3 күн бұрын
Couldn't recommend it enough! 20-40 is the most versatile focal range in my opinion. 20 is just wide enough for vlogging and environmental shots and 40 is a great medium length for portraits or detail shots. Plus clear image zoom will get you to 60mm and then you can also use APS-C crop to get even further. The only time I felt like it wasn't enough was when I tried to take videos of Mt. Fuji, but in reality I need like a 70-200 for that LOL

I understand that making changes after the conversion LUT is working in Display Referred color space rather than a Scene Referred color space, but I've found that the results I get from the workflow I've outlined in this video are more natural looking than those from using a Scene Referred color space. I'm still doing testing but for now, this is how I Correct.

@ViquorАй бұрын
@@kyle_munoz I was able to mount 2 corsair 120 slim fans with grills outside on the bottom with just enough clearance for the feet and abit of air to escape. Not ideal but works and doesn’t look to bad
@LestorytellersАй бұрын
Hey nice vidéo! But if you want to retain the most dynamic range from your camera and avoid clipping, you should do all your color correction nodes befor your LUT.Everything done after the LUT is forcing you to work on a rec 709 color space which is way smaller than your camera color space.
@kyle_munozАй бұрын
See this is what I thought as well but when I did, I ended up getting some weird artifacting. I even reached out to the creator of the Leeming LUTs and he said to do WB before the LUT and exposure after. But even when trying that, the colors I was getting were weird looking as well. I know it's typically best to do adjustments before the conversion LUT so I'll keep testing, but for now this is what my current workflow looks like.

Do you use the lens cap for white balance when shooting your vlogs? I like to shoot in the moment and the thought of doing that each time before a shot seems like a drag because it would slow down the process. Of course it all depends on your shooting style and preferences. It makes sense to take your time to get it right in camera if you have your video planned beforehand or are filming in a controlled environment. For me I try to find the right balance between getting the best quality in the least amount of steps possible. Depending on my mood I either shoot in AWB and lock it before I record or I just shoot in daylight mode and match everything in post. I’ve had a camera for several years now, but I just started shooting in log and this is a whole new world.
@kyle_munozАй бұрын
Yeah Rachel great question! I definitely only use the lens cap method when i’m setting things up. For Vlogs i either use AWB or Daytime balance and then just use anything that’s supposed to have a neutral color in the image as a white balance point. It’s somewhat hit or miss but i’ve found it gets you to a great place most of the time. But also in vlogs, i don’t necessarily try to match the colors of every scene. White balancing is still definitely crucial but I usually just try to enhance the colors that already exist. Let me know if you have any more questions!

no, you're dumb for using a 13th gen intel CPU when there's much more efficient AMD available. But also, for thinking undervolting which is what a -5% power? is a solution to bad airflow. If your airflow is bad you need to fix the airflow not to reduce power consumption, but ok, say you wanted to reduce the power consumption for whatever reason, you would just do that with straight up setting a power limit, which is extremely simple and you can easily set a 50% or lower power limit without any stability issues. Yet you went for undervolting why? because it's a popular concept today?
@kyle_munozАй бұрын
Yup 13th gen wasn’t the best but I already took responsibility for that choice. Pretty obvious that fixing airflow is the solution to bad airflow…😂 The whole point of of the video is that the airflow in this case is not good, and since airflow is meant to cool components, reducing the heat produced by those components is another solution. When I said I undervolted, I meant that I both undervolted and power limited the CPU as low as i could while keeping it stable (around 140W as opposed to the stock 250W) and it was STILL thermal throttling. Any more helpful suggestions that maybe i haven’t tried yet?
