It's funny Manuel's laughing too but if you was really from Barcelona he would not know what she is saying even with the hideous laugh. They did a good job making him look Spanish he is actually from Great Britain. Of course Spanish people are white too but they usually have black hair although there is a good many blondes in Spain. The Indians called them the pale faces when they came.

There are a few scenes in any sitcom ever that can make me laugh aloud, but when Fawlty has absolutely no clue what to do and just says “ Would you care for a rat?” I don’t care how many times I’ve seen it. I laugh out loud.

21:12 actually the situation is more complicated. If the person has been electrocuted by a outlet or cord then if you are able to do so then turn off the power and then once the power has been turned off then you can treat them. However if the person has been electrocuted by downed power lines that is when you should not enter the area and immediately call 911 and the power company. That is because you probably won’t be able to turn off the power lines and therefore by entering the area you will get electrocuted as well. Also remember even if the power lines don’t look live you should still not enter the scene as they could still be energized and therefore you should always assume that downed power lines are live until proven otherwise by the power company or first responders.

18:46 actually if there is smoke in the area you probably shouldn’t enter it. That is because one when there is smoke there is fire meaning that the building could be on fire and two smoke is very toxic due to it having toxic gases such as carbon monoxide. Therefore if you enter the smoky area it is very likely that you will inhale the smoke and then become overcome by it thus becoming a additional victim. Remember scene safety is very important. Therefore you should never enter a burning building nor should you ever enter a building that has smoke in it. Instead immediately call 911 and tell the dispatcher about what has happened and then after you have called 911 leave the rescue to the firefighters as they have breathing apparatus and are trained in rescues and they can therefore safely extinguish the fire and rescue the person.

Sometimes you may have no other choice but to move the victim due to the threat of them dying if they aren’t moved. In that case it is far better to move them than to keep them there as oftentimes neck or back or spinal injuries can be treated but if someone dies then you can’t treat them or bring them back to life. An example of that is if you need to do so to treat them such as if they have had cardiac arrest but are on a bed or if you need to move the person to treat someone else who isn’t breathing such as if they are in the backseat of a car or are on the other side of a car but is blocked by someone on the other seat. Another example of when you need to move someone is if they are in immediate life threatening danger from something at the scene. An example of that could be if the person is in a burning vehicle or if they are positioned on a roadway or a intersection where there is the danger of them being hit by traffic.
@jfournerat12743 ай бұрын
Another good example of where scene safety is important is if someone is unconscious in a confined space such as a manhole or pit or silo. While your first instinct may be to go in there to help them you probably shouldn’t do that. That is because oftentimes the reason why the person became unconscious is due to either poisonous fumes such as carbon monoxide or due to a lack of oxygen and therefore if you enter the space you will be overcome by that and therefore then become another victim. Tragically 60% of people who die in confined spaces are would be rescuers as upon seeing the person they then instinctively enter the space in a attempt to rescue them but they are then overcome by the poisonous fumes or a lack of oxygen upon entering the space. In that case if you see someone unconscious in the space then do not enter it but instead immediately call 911 and if possible get someone who is properly trained in confined space rescue and has proper equipment such as breathing apparatus and then let them deal with the situation.
