None specifically but you can perhaps use a little locktite bolt lock liquid to help prevent loosening in the future. I’m surprised it worked off they usually remain tight unless you touch them. Hope this helps, good luck and thanks for your comment and support!

My right spring broke at the end so I bent a new loop to hook it to the blade brake side. All good until I engaged the PTO. The added tension on the spring since it was a bit shorter caused the deck cable to break at the pin on the lever. A long day's work of maintenance/tune ended up in no mower. Good times! Parts are arriving soon. Thank you for this confirmation of where exactly that spring should hook to brake.

I have either this same Maytag refrigerator or one very close. My model is MFI2665XEW6 - from around 2011. There is just a simple red Tactile Momentary Push Button Switch inside these plastic dispenser actuators that over time just wears out and doesn't spring. When that happens the switch stays depressed and you'll get this issue. Like everyone else - my search for replacement dispenser actuators yielded no results as everyone said "discontinued" and appliance sites explicitly say the newer dispensers don't work with older models. Thx to this video i took a chance on a new pair of dispensers part no# WPW10368730. They work fine on this model and likely all models with this design. So it is baffling why all the sites say incompatible with older models. Another note - in the video (not knocking the awesome video - just my own fault here) it looked to me like just releasing the clear tabs allows the controller board to come out - don't fall for that. It's the black tabs that are a bit further back and up and harder to see. The clear tabs just release the outside glass from the controller board. I broke 2 of the 3 black tabs giving the controller board glass a good pull after just releasing the clear tabs - luckily it looks like you can get by on 1 black tab. So don't break all 3.

Thanks for your comment I appreciate your support and I’m glad you liked it. I always first try to find the exact replacement but if it’s discontinued chances are you can find a similar part but different part number. I had to find a Whirlpool part I believe last time, it takes a lot of research and time online searching but most likely there is something that will work, usually the next iterations or later models don’t really change all that much. Look for the new Maytag that is similar to yours and then see if that part will work. Good luck and thanks again, god bless

Just ran on your video today, I'm on the prosses of finishing my pool is the 16x32 like yours and today got it set up, I did all the work by myself from leveling the ground by hand and putting the frame together, My wife did help hold it up so I can put the small rods on the legs, It is a hard job doing it by yourself. Tomorrow I will start filling it up, one question i have, how many bags of salt did you use? Thank for the video and info.
@Prblmslvd
@Prblmslvd Жыл бұрын
Hey, first thanks a bunch for watching supporting and commenting… my pool is the sand filter, so no salt, but I do recall it was a whole bag of the volcanic rock in the filter. I wouldn’t attempt it by myself I give you a lot of credit, it’s quite a large pool and 32x16 is quite a large area to level your self. One thing I would say if I could do it all over again would be to use stronger tiles / pavers, the weight of the pool and I believe some sub par quality slabs caused a couple to crack. I’m still trying to come up with a way to swap the two cracked ones out without draining the pool but as you can imagine the weight is tremendous. Good luck to you and hope you have many years of enjoyment.

I have an honest question. Should grease be added behind the pucks to hold them on during assembly when it can migrate to the surface of the disc and negate the necessary friction to make the brakes work effectively?
@Prblmslvd
@Prblmslvd Жыл бұрын
If you just use a little bit, just enough to stick it in place it should not migrate to the surface and cause an issue. Even if a small amount did, the friction should take care of it. I definitely wouldn’t suggest soaking it in grease. Good point though, use sparingly if you must. Thanks for commenting!

I actually checked the water temperature and it’s still a bit warm to close the pool, (should be less than 65F consistently), but did get my pillows out and inflated. What I replied with above is correct except I only had 3 4x4’s in the center line I think the more you have the better off you will be for keeping the cover off the pools water surface and allowing drainage to the sides where it’s more easily removed.
