I loved Shalamar & she definitely was the voice of the group. When they split up & Jodi went solo, as much as I liked her & in my opinion, the quality just wasn't there in the music to launch her into a successful career of her own. Don't hate me Jodi fans but I think the record companies probably had other things on their minds at the time or maybe she just had the wrong producer or writers or just musical differences. Good to see this though.

This is a great find. Never seen this before. We missed out on so many tv show clips like this living in the uk. Thanks to KZfaq it's all very different now. I've been a huge fan of Natalie Cole ever since 'This will be' came out, she had such an amazing voice. I like the occasional Whitney song but this duet should have been recorded properly & released as a single 'cos it's got number one, here we come, shouting out of my tv screen at me!
