I hope they keep losing players and money in the process, so they can learn how to build a good game. And honestly, I think they are sabogating the game on purpose, because they might want to get rid of this project.

Discourse regarding nerfs is difficult, given that many are rather entrenched now in their opinions. In truth, changes were necessary to several weapons -- for instance, the Eruptor shrapnel was not behaving as intended, leading it to do incredibly high damage and allowed it to kill turrets and chargers and even BTs. However, *it was not behaving as intended.* Instead of fixing the underlying problem, AH removed the shrapnel entirely, which lead to backlash. Same with Railgun, same with Flamethrower. AH seems to consistently find and apply bandaid solutions while the game itself becomes progressively less stable. On the other hand, the I. Breaker was not OP, its high usage is due to, I believe, a lack of understanding of the frankly arcane damage system the game employs for enemies. The shotguns more generally and the I. Breaker and Cookout more specifically do not punish poor aim nearly as much as most of the other weapons, given that headshots are always the quickest way to kill an enemy, the bodies of enemies are incredibly more spongy due to armor values and 'density,' and the way damage is accumulated by different body parts is foggy at best. Therefore, spread weapons that have a higher chance of hitting the head and DoT weapons that do damage regardless of hit location will tend to be more reliable regardless of the player using them, which leads to a higher pick rate. The game needs to do a better job of teaching players how to play it, in other words, not nerf the weapons that aren't penalized as much by their damage model. In both cases, AH treats the symptom rather than the root cause, which is a big problem in my opinion.

as someone who does play with a 1050 ti, I can say that it runs but very poorly, most of the time ill get between 30-80 fps but sometimes, randomly, while dropping in, diving, or just when its foggy or on a cold/jungle planet and sniff the wrong direction, ill get about .5 fps until finished diving/ landing/ idk this tree has slightly less polygons so I'm looking here now. i can still play around the massive frame drops but the worst part for lag is easily the ship. consistently while on the ship, without a mission loaded, my fps plummets to maybe 10 on a good day, but once a mission is locked in its fine for some reason. its playable but if anybody has a 1050 ti don't bother, the experience is miserable. I love this game but i dont even try to boot it up most of the time because i know im just gonna have a bad time trying to load a mission, let alone returning from one. on the positive side it does make stratigem hero a lot more intense :)

They better watch cause space marines 2 is grabbing HD players' attention and are talking about giving up on the game.. at least the vast majority of players i chat to during my play in the last couple of weeks. It's a buggy mess since the 6th of August. On ps5, anyway. Lucky to get through a full 3 games without it crashing.

Tbh... I always preferred the dominator over the breaker... Way more fun, plus the pose trip you look for... Just keep in mind. You are a guardsmen, not a space marine. Any power trip you might feel... Is just propaganda doing it's work

The scout passive is garbage. I don't want to be sneaky and lightly armored when I have angry bots or bugs waiting to just spit on me and kill me due to how weak my armor rating is.

When everyone was still scared to use the arc thrower because of the high potential for team kill, Arrowhead never cared, as soon as it got popular they nerfed the fire rate

Look at the horde shooter of a lifetime, Left for dead 2. Practically EVERY weapon in that game is beyond OP, given that you arent eaten alive by whatever you are shooting at first. The pistols, shotguns, snipers, ARs, all of it just packs a fucking punch so much that the grenades feel underwhelming compared to your primary. In helldivers though? your primary is meant to be weak so you rely on your strategems, WRONG FUCKING WAY TO DO THAT. You shouldn't be weak so you rely on GOD ITSELF you should be strong and have to rely on the giant artillery and support from your Carrier because the enemies are also strong. But as it is they keep making the enemies stronger and us weaker as they suck the fun out of the game and keep saying "we are sorry" and CHANGE FUCK ALL ABOUT IT. Tbh when the next big multiplayer game comes out if helldivers hasn't fixed their fucking attitude toward enjoying a game then I'm just gonna uninstall and switch. The enjoyment i get from helldivers at this point is entirely based on me and my friends having fun together, and now its slowly just becoming stress simulator 2024 (now with friends) I want to stress about the enemies, I want to face an ungodly horde, I want to be scared, But when you reduce tactics to just be "Run backwards and shoot at them sometimes" because you nerfed the game into oblivion you will not find ANYONE having a good time.

The fact it took a week to have the uncooked patch like what we got to come out, let alone a list that exists of known bugs STILL NOT FIXED - some of the same bugs for months now they clearly don't have the technical skill or their outdated engine is too much of a rubics cube for them to debug and configure the way we are expecting them to. 60 days will not be enough with the output we've had in the last 6 months. Give them either another year or so maybe then. They should just cut their losses, work on HD3 on a new engine that they can effectively debug, reconfigure and control. 8 years in development, 6 months to destroy it, please let's look at the reality of the situation here

breaker incendiary nerf was absolutely not needed. I was already bringing a supply pack with it on longer missions, now I’m just forced to bring one every time. They effectively just gave breaker incendiary users a negative stratagem slot. Yeah supply pack provides more than just ammo but that misses the point. I used to be able to bring stuff like a jump pack or a rover with my fire shotty, now I’m locked into one specific backpack and that SUCKS.

The game is still great but the devs don't really know what they want to do with the game. The excuse for nerfing primaries is they want stratagems to be used more...like people aren't using stratagems? On top of that look at the release, there was a ton of things that prevented or hampered stratagems like the scramblers or the AA defenses that let you only bring in 3 strats. AA on the planet exists and so do the stratagem blocker towers. One planet has periodic effects that stop stratagems, so what the hell are the devs talking about? When all your stratagems are on cooldown or blocks, you need a primary weapon that will carry you through but each one that performs well gets the cut. They spend all their time on these nerfs and spreadsheet balancing when 100% of their efforts need to be in bug fixing and new content.

We get 150 levels why not have an expansive skill tree with meaningful upgrades along the way? Have it require a skill point, req points, medals and samples for each skill so we have a giant resource sink to invest in. I can imagine this would take a long time to implement but it would be nice to tailor your character into a specialization. Then with a massive amount of resources have players able to buy additional trees to achieve a different build.

One simple way how I rank warbound is check the boosters and grenades, since arrowhead yet to do any “balances” on them. So war bound with the Stun Grenade is priority, then imo the stim booster (I love drugs), then impact incen. This is most future proof method since arrowhead keep nerfing guns that are well loved.
