hello! nice video. You dont put oil anywhere, just grase, its this ok? its from the manual "LUBRICATION Lubricate ball bearings by filling the spaces between balls with grease. Be careful not to grease pawls. Lubricate hub shell, brake cylinder and friction spring liberally with a high-temperature grease for steel brake shoes. Oil, never grease, brake cone and gear ring with a good cycle oil. (WD-40 is too light for lasting lubrication, 3-in-1 Oil gums up with age.)

Hello! I have trubbel with the hub, it is changing in all 4 Gears , but it is not moving back! It is a new cable and a new shifter! I removed the wheel and even when you push it either hands , it is not coming back! What do you think is the problem and how to fix it ? Thanks!

Too bad your hand is in the way for the cable release. I recommend refilming that part then repeat the clip in slow mo, just sayin’

Thank you for a very pedagogic video. It helped me a lot. I have just one question. I did it according to your instructions in the video. I placed the recently served wheel back on my bicycle. I tried to push the pedals with my hands in a forward direction when my bike was placed upside down. I noticed that when I released the pedals from my hands, they were still moving slightly (between 180 - 360 degrees), despite the fact that I did not give them any force. I suspect that the rotation in the internal hub is still giving the chain some force and moving the pedals slightly forward. Do you think this is because I tightened the outermost lock nuts too hard? Or do you have any other thoughts. Greetings from an amateur mechanic in Sweden.

Hi, I loved your video so much that was helpful when trying to mend the hub. My problem is that, when all the three gears exist and works there is a NOT regular clicking when pushing down any of the pedals. Sometimes comes the sound and doesn't depend on the force I push the pedal. Other problem, when I pull backward the bike there is a quiet slipping sound. The coaster brake is working but not powerful enough. I tried to build in the brake shoes without any grease, but it wasn't succesful. Do you have any idea about my problems ( if they were clear)? Thank you in advance

Hint, never use a torque wrench as a breaker bar if you wish it to stay accurate when torque bolts to proper specs.

The lock washer that can be seen at 0:23 is backwards in the video, the solid surface should is against the hub as it locks to the bike frame when the nut is fastened.
