To feed their kids. It's a tough position to be in. That's why the debt slave trade we call an economy is so damn effective at keeping us down and them looking down at us. This is what happened in law enforcement. In media, all the good anchors quit or retired when they were pressured to do the same one-sided reporting...which left the compromised reporters and journalists and no unbiased ones. Then they hired more biased ones to fill the spots of the noble ones who put integrity first. Same with the police forces nationwide. Good cops out, bad cops stay and hire to train more bad cops. Quitting is not the answer. Resisting publicly is the only way to "awaken the sleeping giant". They gave no indications as to the reason so the station continued doing the devil's work while the good people purge themselves from the ranks to avoid the friction or discomfort. I get it. I'm definitely a non-confrontational person myself. But for freedom and true democracy, for my fellow humans - these are the things of highest moral values. If the land of the free is no more, darkness will consume the earth in record time. The world needs us to wake up. Together.
