I think this is the problem with Any literature. If you have ever read English prose and poetry you will understand that what is written is not to be taken in a literal sense but to be read in context. For example, if an English prose says, his heart broke when she died or was heartbroken.. does it really mean his heart which is made of muscle broke ? A kid will tell you that the heart doesn't break. Or that his heart sank on hearing the news... does it really mean that the heart gets immersed in water or any liquid ? Heart felt .... but the heart doesn't have any feelings..it is the dopamine chemical in the brain which causes feeling as the heart is just a pump...There are hundreds if not thousands of such words used in Prose and Poetry in which feelings are associated with the heart and not to some chemical reaction in the brain. Do you take such words literally ? No you don’t… you take it in context and try to make sense of what is being stated. Otherwise you would have to throw away all of the Shakespearean literature and all of English prose and poetry out of the window because it is illogical and doesn't make sense !. In fact all prose and poetry ever will be out of the window.

The verse in question does not say that the sun sets in in a murky pool; rather, it says that Dhul-Qarnayn found it as if it were setting in a murky pool (this is what appeared to his eyes). Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud, and he found near it a people. Allah said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you punish [them] or else adopt among them [a way of] goodness." - Al-Kahf 18:86 Had it been setting in a murky pool, then Dhul-Qarnayn should have seen it rise out of the murky pool; rather, he sees it rising on people who were not shielded from it, on the other side of the planet as the verses say he had traveled across: حَتَّىٰ إِذَا بَلَغَ مَطْلِعَ الشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَطْلُعُ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ لَّمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُم مِّن دُونِهَا سِتْرًا Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had not made against it any shield. - Al-Kahf 18:90 Furthermore, while there are direct verses with no use of literary devices, as in An-Nisa' 4:17: "So believe in Allah and His messengers," one can find the use of literary devices as in As-Saffat 37:65: "Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils." Qur'an uses multiple literary devices from similes to metaphors to other devices that are commonly employed in the Arabic language (التصوير ـ التمثيل ـ الجدل ـ القصص), as in this example: وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَسَرَابٍ بِقِيعَةٍ يَحْسَبُهُ الظَّمْآنُ مَاءً حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَهُ لَمْ يَجِدْهُ شَيْئًا وَوَجَدَ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ فَوَفَّاهُ حِسَابَهُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ But those who disbelieved - their deeds are like a mirage in a lowland which a thirsty one thinks is water until, when he comes to it, he finds it is nothing but finds Allah before Him, and He will pay him in full his due; and Allah is swift in account. - An-Nur 24:39 Obviously this verse is using imagery to describe what happens to disbelievers on the day of judgment about what they perceive to be their good deeds. Finally, the various tafsirs do not support the view that sun actually sets in a murky water; rather, this is how it was perceived from the view of Dhul-Qarnayn as he saw the sun sink in the lake or pool. View in tafsirs Here are quotes from different major tafsirs of this verse by authors over a number of centuries, and they point to the same concept. Translations are mostly my own, so treat with care. And His saying: "he found it setting in a spring of Hami'ah" meaning, he saw the sun as if it were setting in the ocean. This is something which everyone who goes to the coast can see: it looks as if the sun is setting into the sea, but it never leaves its path in the fourth orbit, in which it is fixed.

Guys relax . If wajada means appeared or found . Then the word aain means an eye . And black murky water . Now listen to me carefully . 1 . Found tht place of setting the sun . 2. Aain means eye . 3. Black murky water . Maybe maybe . Im wrong astaghfirullah . I dont know but hear me out . ALLAH IS TALKING ABOUT BLACK HOLE . CAUSE SUN'S SETTING PLACE ITS END IS BLACK HOLE . And it clearly says in the next verse that he found people next or opposite to that spring or tht black murky water . And it clearly says in tht surah further verse that Allah has made no sheilds for them to protect them from sun . There is no any place on earth that sun is 24 hours 7 days a week and 365 days on them . And if they were human why would they have a problem with sun ? . And Allah clearly says that we have given dhul-qarnain every thing ( like every power , or maybe all the sources to travel this distance . Now note down this is all i think ) . And last they Allah is talking about yajoj wa majoj ( gog magog ) i dont think so that there are humans sho will drink all of the rivers and destroy everything ( talking from hadith ) no human forces are capable to drink all the rivers and seas like that . Plus its written in hadith that they will come from up . Like they will emerge from up or sky . So think about it . And Allah clearly says in this surah of kahf . Tht he travel through sababa mean a course a way . Think guys . I dont know maybe im wrong may Allah forgive me . But there is something we should know maybe . Thank you

It's very simple. Allah wrote the verse. Allah observed the man finding the sun setting. Allah reported on this, therefore Allah was witness to the man also finding it setting. Explained another way. I'm an author. I see my wife find her phone on the table, I write that I see he find her phone. So my wife didn't write or say anything, I just saw her do it all and made a verse out of it.

Look at the gratitude displayed by so many contributors here for the Qur'ān 18:86 explanation in the video and in the comments. (The same gratitude can be found at other videos.) These people, Muslims, WANT to believe and trust the Qur'ān. I.e., they value belief over evidence. What they're able to TELL themselves the Qur'ān says is more important than what it SAYS. Muslims invent their own religions in place of the authentic one they can't defend. But they nevertheless believe their inventions are Islam.

There's more in Quran the scientifically can't be Explained. There's a lot in Quran which is common knowledge in 20th century and made no sense to humans in 7th century. Although what science evolves every day but Qurans words don't change at all.. so when a scientific explanation isn't possible to a certain verse it means science is still catching up to the words of the Creator.. There's many many verses you can look up and find the truth yourself. And in Hadith There's many more scientific facts. By missing all of this you will be unfair to your own self only. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him told 1400 years ago in a Hadith 'sun sets on some and it rises on some'.

Perhaps it's best to repeat what I posted at this video some months ago about what Qur'ān 18:86 says, in English translation: Sahih International: "Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud...." That is the only English translation that equivocates over the "where" issue; the brackets are in the translation. Pickthall: "Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring...." Yusuf Ali: "Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water...." Shakir: "Until when he reached the place where the sun set, he found it going down into a black sea...." Muhammad Sarwar: "...to the West where he found the sun setting into a warm source (spring) of water...." Mohsin Khan: "Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water...." Arberry: "...until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring...." Infidels who become Muslims are either terribly weak or terribly ignorant. Ignorance, willful or otherwise, may yet prove itself to be stronger than knowledge. "It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled." -Mark Twain

Human history's greatest example of how readily people receive myths, ignorance, and lies that conflict with reality is the cult of Islam, whose Qur'ān 18:86 says the following, in English translation: Sahih International: "Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud...." That is the only English translation that equivocates over the "where" issue; the brackets are in the translation. They are joining a movement whose adherents have been forcing people aboard for all the centuries of its existence, and lying about that and so much else about Islam. Ignorance, willful or otherwise, may yet prove itself to be stronger than knowledge.

Recent work in the relatively new field of neurocardiology has firmly established that the heart is a sensory organ and an information encoding and processing center, with an extensive intrinsic nervous system that’s sufficiently sophisticated to qualify as a heart brain. Its circuitry enables it to learn, remember, and make functional decisions independent of the cranial brain. To everyone’s surprise, the findings have demonstrated that the heart’s intrinsic nervous system is a complex, self-organized system; its neuroplasticity, or ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections over both the short and long term, has been well demonstrated. The Heart-Brain System Pathway There are several areas of the brain that are in direct communication with the heart. ` The cortex: the thinking brain `The thalamus: which synchronizes the cortical activity `The amygdala: which houses emotional memory `The medulla: which regulates the ANS and blood pressure

U should not use any verse of Quran without knowing it's background. Especially people just copy / paste from Islamophobia sites and come to claim scientific errors in Quran. May Allah guide them.

The Quran says it sets on muddy water, that's specific and not watching sunset at sea. There's a distinction. Abu Dharr said: I was sitting behind the Apostle of Allah who was riding a donkey while the sun was setting. He asked: Do you know where this sets? [And he marched westwards] till, when he came to the setting of the sun. replied: Allah and his Apostle know best. He said: IT SETS IN A SPRING OF WARM Water. What's the significance of water if the sun is light years away from Earth. Quran is speaking of a human being who traveled to the place of the setting of the sun. Such a statement is wrong in any kind of language, since such a place does not exist on this earth. No disrespect. But just curious

I have read the comments ✨and its true heart have 40,000 neurons, which is the study in 1991 . ......BUT the issue is still because these neurons are only responsible for heart beating digestion etc.... " IT CAN'T THINK!!".......if you read the study it clearly says the although heart have neurons but it can't think like the brain does..... So still the contradiction and 🤔 confusion!!

See how this idiot fools the innocent and unsuspecting muslims. He tells a lie that they found the dead body of the same Pharaoh who lived during the time of Moses and who was drowned in the sea recently. From where did he get that information ? It is lie. They may have found a mummy and several such mummies were found. That does not mean that they found the dead body of the same Pharaoh. This is how muslims spread falsehood ! Again which historical excavation prove about the flood which occured during the time of Noah. There was only one such study which which was done by christians. No muslim group has ever done any such study.

How can we admit,to the spirit that you knw nothing of and Muhammad obviously didn't have it and you Muslims claim to our God his spirit is Muhammad? Islam is just a joke Muhammad was not important to God our Bible don't metion him,so don't claim things you know nothing of,you pray to Satan that's why you kill us and then Muhammad say heaven is guaranteed, why do you Muslims try so hard to prove that you pray to our God,you don't your god is Allah and Muhammad, and what you doing now is to try force Muhammad in our Bible, lol his rules and law it oppose our God,and the way the Quran is confusing lol no wonder you think he is in our Bible the Quran is so confusing no 1 knows what is really going on neither Muslim knows who they god is ,it's Allah but they can kill you for blasphemy when spoke of Muhammad,Islam doesn't make sense blasphemy only involve God is Muhammad also a god?
