But what if the worst thing is last? What if you have a young adult child who rejected God, and then without warning died? Agnostic siblings die without Christ? Will their torment in hell not be the last thing? I’m not questioning God’s judgement. He is just. But I find no comfort.

Greetings. Love this . I can't believe I'm only getting around to listening to this woman now. My husband has been raving for years. I guess I felt it was beyond my capabilities to read from what I perceived was a more intellectual, academic 'learned' person than myself. I was a simple fisherman in comparison but anyway, I'm glad I can stand in union with her now.

There were two goats - one is the LORD's goat & the other is the scapegoat. If you compare the scapegoat to Jesus, it doesn't make sense. Here's a brief comparison. SCAPEGOAT: - was never called an offering - Lev 16:10 - was never brought into the temple - Lev 16:7,20,21, Luke 10:18 - never sheds blood. Lev 16:10,20,21 - was kept alive and sent into the wilderness. JESUS: - was an offering - Isa 53:10 - was brought into the tabernacle - Heb 9:11,12 - Shed His blood - Luke 22:20 LORD's GOAT: - offered as a sin offering - Lev 16:9 - blood shed - Lev 16 Jesus bore the full brunt of sin for us and because of His grace and we are no longer under the condemnation of sin. That said, Satan will not be saved from his sins and will continue to carry the guilt of his sins until his final defeat - into the wilderness - into the bottomless pit spoken of in Revelation 9.

I used to go here in the early 2000s. Even though I’m Catholic I found it to be such a beautiful and powerful religious experience. I got to sit with the priest of Ganesh and learn prayers. There is a part of me that believes in reincarnation.

Have You known sister, that all Moslem will be comers in the hell ? Please read your Qur'ran Surah Maryam verse 71. I won't to be Moslem because I have decided to follow Yesus as my Savior, so I have been free from the hell fire.

Phyllis Tickle - a woman whose joyful, intelligent and prophetic ministry was never about self but always about recognizing, serving and promoting what others are doing. I resonate with that call and am enduringly inspired by Phyllis’ insightful and progressive example.I am perpetually grateful for Phyllis’ great generosity to one such as me! Her encouragement of and belief in my writing were unfailing. She was a faithful and nurturing correspondent with me over more than a decade and I am forever thankful to Phyllis for her generosity in endorsing three of my books - all with her typical poetry and enthusiasm. RIP Phyllis! We miss you. Vale! XXX

This message is an amazing affirmation of Dr. Lew's faith and his practical walk with God. I think this is all the more compelling in that it was recorded in November 2002, just weeks before Lew died on December 19.

Religions are framed on a monomyth template. You can't worship a fake religion with billions of idol worshipers, (Christains) and not have it look like the evolving tribes that hide behind it.

Greetings Dr. Thomas, by chance or providence I came upon your presentation. I was joyed to once again hear you speak. Years ago I lived in Kansas City and you challenged me to imagine preaching in a different way. I have never forgotten the brief discussion. My preaching changed for what believe to be for the better. Additionally, my own hearing of good preaching thrills my soul. Blessings, Frank Shope

I grew up with this man and he watched me grow up as well in Omaha Nebraska. I’ve never met a more ego driven man that’s only concern was the church’s finances and how much money they made from suckers. There is a special place in Hell for this man and his wife Barb should be ashamed of his blasphemy!!!

Unlike so many of the shallow, I will not abandon my huge admiration for Jean Vanier because he may have had human weaknesses, as we all do. Nor will my admiration be unreasonably diverted or diminished by the anxious cries and bleats of the many who desperately try to demonstrate their own superior moral rectitude and so glibly throw overboard the reputation of a man who was greater than they will ever be.

So according to the good sister, silence is the answer. So Jesus didn’t have to die on the cross after all? How about doing what Jesus said in the Great Commission. Now there’s a novel idea, sister.

Y'all, the reason for the title is that Stanley- by nature- is provocative. I can assure you that he picked the title. Read "Dispatches from the Front" or Peaceable Kingdom" and you get very provocative titles of his chapters. It's how he communicates. I love this about Haurwas. In a world of boring pablum disguised as theology, he stands out, gets your attention and makes you think. My response to this presentation is that Jesus didn't say "Tolerate others as I have tolerated you." He said love others as I have loved you." Loving others demands much more work from us who claim Jesus as our Lord than tolerance can.
