Let's see, approximately 6% of the population committing 50% of the crimes. Sounds like a smart policy to me.

Think clearly about Denzel Washington, and ponder what he is selling. All rush to see his movies, either in the Equalizer series, or any other. I submit that he is selling poison, in that every one of his movies features revenge of some sort. The physiological reason that he is so popular is not because he is a good actor, though he is a third rate actor in my opinion. No, take care and observe your reactions when he brings his version of justice to the evil men portrayed. First, there is no indication whatsoever that he involves the law, and this suggests that he treats the law with contempt. Now, that might be a good thing, but you miss the point when I say the 'Law', as it underpins and is the cornerstone of Western societies. Second, you need to understand your physical response to the penultimate moment when he brings what he calls 'justice' to the bad men. What drives your addiction to his movies is the rush of adrenaline you feel when he kills without remorse and without recourse to the law. Adrenaline is the most addictive hormone in the body, it drives our 'fight or flight' response. It feels good, it empowers us, it drives us to our limit and beyond, and we need to understand that every time you experience a shot of adrenaline you start craving for more, just as we do in drug addiction. These movies are not merely accidents of creation, they are deliberately designed to elicit that adrenaline rush, which will eventually cause addiction and a feeling of being part of his philosophy. I firmly believe that they are cumulative, in that we rush to see the next edition, for that rush we so enjoy. What we are seeing, of course, is savage cruelty, fearsome ignorance of the law, a revenge based method of bringing justice to all, the unquestioning adoration of him when he takes the life of the bad guy. He is not the only actor out of Hollywood who peddles harm to the viewer, but he is the go to attraction of the current period we are in.; All I say is, go ahead and watch, but know it for what it really is.

Where did time go, it’s ridiculous to think that this movie is 12 years old, it feels like it came out 5 years ago. And why on Earth has there not been any sequels to this wonderful, successful and popular franchise, it’s baffling. Specially as how lazy and riskfree Hollywood has become with prequels, sequels and spinoffs of old successful franchises everywhere.

This movie was much better than the current Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes in my opinion. Without providing spoilers, Kingdom wasn't terrible but it felt like it was just filler to setup the next movie.

"Because they stand on a wall, and they say nothing's going to hurt you tonight, not on my watch." Beautiful sentiment. It would be nice if US Marines were actually all deployed inside the US, perhaps on the southern border, instead of being stationed all around the world to defend someone's imperious global interests.

In these times there is very little if any racism. Until the woke came along and created something out of nothing. If that's not bad enough there are people who actually believe it.Racism is being brought back into our society. Now ask why? To create hate. And it's working. Don't be one of the sheep. Use your brain and think about it.

The girls ruined the entire scene. The fact that the Federally fired one shot and at the plate carrier is ridiculous and none of the others got a shot off is ridiculous. This movie was not very good in comparison to the original.
