This feels like an educational type of game for young audiences.

I loved the original Endless Ocean as a kid. Being able to explore different submarine envirments like reefs, abyssal trenches (My favorite), Ancient ruins, marine caves, and even sunken ships was awesome. The thrill of scouring the seafloor to discover every landmark and named location, as well as interesting fish and creatures always kept me coming back. I have no idea how well EO2 and 3 capture this vibe, though. Also, i somewhat prefer the mechnic of the original where you had to pet and interact with the fish in order to register it. You had to be persistent sometimes, and it could take a few minutes before you got the name of the fish. It was legit like filling out the pokedex. I don't really like the instant registration as soon as you look at the fish, though that is probably just nostalgi goggles.

I love how the picture even spoils it in a cute way. The hat to give the overall strawberry shape, the blush and freckles are analogs for the red strawberry flesh and seeds. Even the shoulder length hair looks like the leaf legs of the Strabby. It's great.

One thing you should realize about the movement relates to the wall jumps - they're very _directional._ What I mean by that is, you can jump off of a wall in the opposite direction, and you can jump up a wall... but you can also jump horizontally _alongside_ the wall (and all the directions in-between them), even when you bash the wall with the horn. Also, that block you pushed in that blocky area you visited? You can push it again to reach the area you did with the jumps, it's not a "push only once" case. One last thing, the area with the pipes inside the building - one of them has a hole on the ceiling.

I like the puffy dog smoke that occasionally comes from the toll booths. Also, the closer this game comes to its release date, the more Crash Bandicoot influence I see out of it, which is rad. That having been said, I am almost certain that jumping from the foreground into the background and vice versa is taken from Virtual Boy Wario Land.

this video was a great time! likewise, I am excited to check out the final version of this game. based off of the demo, this shit goes hard, the music is incredible and the art style is quite captivating. my only complaint is the lack of any combat which the developers confirmed to be true...

I played the demo just once and then uninstalled. The visuals and voice acting are great, but actual gameplay and small amount of story is so boring, so I'm not bothering with the full game

Trying to enjoy the game. My biggest frustration is the camera. Every time I set it in the options, it changes randomly or resets.

You know, after I just beat the game a second time with different choices I made in the game and still getting the same ending, I kind of did wonder "What would happen if I just take the GEM for myself?" Guess I gotta play it a third time.
