@@Nate_1271 ya that is a tough choice the F has way less maintenance but it has less power and very little suspension adjustment and it is cheaper The R has more power and more suspension adjustment but there is a lot more maintenance and it cost more It is a tough call and me personally there is things I like about both and things I dislike

Would the light work as well for you if it was mounted on top of the hood, in front of the windshield instead of on the leading edge?

I think it would work just as well. The only thing I don’t like about putting lights near a windshield either on top of the windshield or below the windshield is sometimes you will see a glare at night.

If you're running in high chasing cattle thats whats causing you're steering problem it does that when you're transmission is getting hot

Should've thrown a dab of blue loctite on all the bolts. Looks good though.

See if adding a bungee cord around the bed extender (either 1 in middle or 1 towards each end) helps reduce the rattle. Hard to tell from the video, but it looks like you could sneak one in there while folding it up. Maybe even a piece of slit foam pipe insulation to provide some cushion between the tailgate.

Yes the bed latch system has a lot of play in it but I was able to fix that in a different video

I was wondering of your thought on the heater now since you had your pioneer for some time. Will it shut off completely with out let any heat in? Will it defrost the windshield with and without heat? And how does the heater do with heating the cab?

Yes, it will shut off completely without letting any heat in and it does defrost the windshield with the heat on. Otherwise it will not if the heat is off and the heater works very well in heating the cab I often have to turn the heater down or shut it off completely because it is getting too hot in the cab

@@jtcindahaus the 700-4 is great rig I work it hard it’s got a plow on it it’s basically a work rig it doesn’t have power steering and I’ve got bad arthritis so the new one does and when we hit the trails I want cab on it . But the 700-4 is awesome

My pioneer would not need the heater addition if the cab was enclosed. It's hot with no doors.

If you can’t get it stuck, you’re not trying hard enough! Great review and nice additions. I would suggest a dual battery setup for all the accessories, unless it came stock with dual battery.

Really enjoyed your video! I have had a Trail 1000-3 ordered since May of 2022 and still waiting. Hoping to get some info soon on delivery. I have a some questions…1) How do you like the overall performance and the suspension of this Honda? 2) Do you like the transmission and the way it performs? 3) Do you like the I-4wd system? I know this model has some fundamental changes with this system vs the conventional differential lock lever system. Just wanted to say you gave a nice review on this Honda. You are well spoken and through. Keep loading your videos on this machine as I enjoyed watching. Can’t wait to get mine! Thanks!

Thank for the amazing comment I am liking the suspension on this machine, it is also nice that there is three different molds, a soft, medium or hard mode. The transmission has been performing good it’s been shifting good for us. I think it sounds more clunky compared to a belt drive system. The new I-4wd is amazing when I first drove it was going through some deep snow and not going to fast and it crawled through that like nothing. I have never driven a machine where it almost feels impossible to get to stuck. I am very impressed by the I-4wd.

We picked this Honda because of the gear transmission and all the other brands have a belt drive transmission that was the main reason

I was wondering how the heater works in it. Do you get enough control of it to shut the heat completely down and was wondering if you could have the heat shut of completely but still be able to move enough air to the windshield to remove moisture off from it?

Yes there is a gauge that you can turn to control the heat temperature and I think you are able to shut off the heat and still have air flow to the window.

Where did you get the cab, doors, windshield, heater etc...? All from Honda or aftermarket?

Great job, you speak better than most people who are 40. I will say it's time that honda figures out how the industry deals with windshields. Have a flat entirely recessed pocket for a gasket to seat on. Car manufacturers don't seal their windshields to the hood or pipes.
