You have a great point about how Glorfindel shined in the spectral real and would therefore attract attention. But can’t the same be said of Gandalf? The obvious answer is that a Mair had more power over how they take on physical form and was able to better conceal their true nature. But it does indicate that it is possible for a spiritual being to conceal their spiritual nature.

They couldn't do anything because the Dragons wouldn't fly past the wall. (In the books at least).

Because JRRT wanted Gandalf to fight the Balrog and not Glorfindel. Besides Glorfindel already got one Balrog, save some for Gandalf!

Off topic but I would like everyone thoughts. About the dragon riders. Could the Lannisters have a connection to past dragon riders? Because Tyrion got close to the dragon and talked to him. 🐲

"Morgoth's Grond was ineffective, yet Morgoth won, while Sauron's Grond was effective, and Sauron lost". Pretty much sums up the power differences between Morgoth and his servant. It is said (in the Silmarillion and the Lord Of The Rings) that "Morgoth's power is always greater and other than he shows" while Saurons power is "never as great as fear makes it" (paraphrasing). Sauron was basically self-destructed by his own errors and was at last overcome by 3 mortal hobbit-like creatures. It took the combined might of the ARMIES of Elves, Men AND the all of the other Valar to overthrow Morgoth.

It's almost as if the Witch King was taunting the defenders of the city. The gates standing up to the first hit gave them hope and then the magic being ignited in Grond for the next two hits crushed their hopes.

I would put forth that Sauron's Grond was just as slow and ineffective as Morgoth's Grond. It struck hard and would have ended the battle, had it not spent such a great deal of time crawling foreward that it's last blow heralded Rohan's arrival.

I'm not a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings. At least the movies, but I do appreciate the deep lore a lot of the time and this was no exception. I have never read any of the books, I'm not much of a reader. Thank you for the in depth on a character I have never heard of before.

everyone complains about poor quality trash being pumped constantly without any thought or concern for the source material, yet when something takes ages to develop because the creator cares about the product everyone still bitches about it taking too long... the common denominator here seems to be the shitty attitude of the audience more than anything else.

qyburn sounds like he´s one of the most dangerous people in westeros. he lacks morals or empathy, does whatever advances his research and has an appearance that makes other people think him kind or harmless. he also doesn´t seem to care who rules over him as long as he can research, making hima viable "ally" for literally everyone who wants to rule. he wouldn´t betray his lord for gold or glory or pleasures of the flesh

This is such an incredible video!!!!! If you dive deep into the 'lost history' of the world- the existence of Lemuria (a spiritually advanced continent in the pacific) Atlantis (Atlantean city very masculine, originated from Lemuria and later controlling and looking to destroy and steal the knowledge of Lemuria), the fall of Atlantis, and then deeper, intot he arrival of dark beings iniltrating these lands, leadership and decieving the Masters of these continents, youll find indeed Tolkien's - what i call channellings- are of our planet. I believe to find enlightenment and liberation of our planet from evil- we must be as the free peoples of Middle Earth are- to come together against collective darkness trying to divide the free peoples of our planet... I am sorry but i am very excited. My comment is not as well structured as i would like it to be... When i was in high school i painted canvases for art of our lost history, leaning on the Lord fo the Rings for visual representation in their looks. I covered the creation of our world, the arrival of off planet beings including arrival of the cosmic 'character' Nibiru from the vast depths of our solar system, the seeding of humanity, the arrival and establishment of Lemuria (Valinor/Elves) and the creation of Atlantis (Numenor), the corruption of pure and once allied peoples by a small group of apathetic beings from off planet, the fall of two continents, the establishment of powerful kingdoms of the world by refugees of Atlantis whi were- tue of heart and not corrupted, and the eventual corruption of the kingdoms to bring their down fall- most noteable Egypt (The high priests were these same beings that turned the Pharaoh from a being connected witht he Gods/universe to simple a figure head and eventually destroyed the civilisation). This is the same for the Mayans, Babyloians, and so many others. On top of this!!! If you look up the small people of Mount Shasta (California) you will find stories of 3 ft hobbit-like people who pop into our physical dimension and who 'dont like the world of the big folk" and disappearing back inot the 5th dimension. The elves leaving middle Earth symbolise people who connect back inwards to their true divine selves, reach enlightenment and leave our physical world without dying and ascend in consciousness. After Atlantis and Lemuria fell, 'dwarves, ents, dragons, hobbits' and many other beings either disappeared from our physical reality or left us completely. I truly believe we are living in a strange times- I personally see 'The Ring' almost like dark artificial intelligence... a device that can not be destroyed by any man but must be destroyed at its source of creation. It is a technology- something that looks innocent even but can bring so much pain... Frodo and the hobbits represent the best and most innocent of all of us- the simple life of being human and that we, any of us can create monumental change on our planet by simply being our most magnificent, loving, kind and genuine selves. From here we can be tested by the world but ultimately we will always win out in the end if we hold true to ourselves. I encourage anyone curious to deep dive into these topics: - Lemuria - Atlantis - Lost history of Earth (channel Spirit Science on youtube has a many number of videos from about a decade ago : seach Spirit Science annunaki or Atlantis or human history). Also the books: Telos by Aurelia Louise Jones. - Telos books also talk about the hobbits (amongst channelings from various Ascended Masters who have seen the falls of Lemuria and Atlantis). - Watch the movie: Tenet (its all about 'The Ring'- A.I that must be destoryed in interestingly similar environment to Mordor/battle of the black gate plus others... if you look closely enough). - Egypt in particular: if you look into ancient and often criticised alternative theories of Egypt- established by much more advanced beings, the changing of power between the pharaohs and high priests and the eventual diminishing of power)... other cultures including those who were keepers of knowledge in Europe- the creation of the Stone henge amongst so much more....... This planet is exactly Middle Earth. Even the magic, sorcery, mythical creatures... they are all here, were here and if we look close enough its all around us. Iwouldnt be surprised if actual places of Middle earth were found, destoryed or simply shey symbolise places as i have mentioned. I thank you for reading my messy comment, but this video just made my night... and perhaps my life. Ive known this for such a long time, and i have been searching for evidence to back my feelings.... THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
