Ive had the same experience near Plodda falls. Made the other half drive us the hell out of there. If youre not welcome, best not to push your luck.

You did the right thing, always trust your gut feeling, it collects far more data that our conscious mind is unaware of! Hope you got home safely, think about taking a friend along or go in a group in future, much safer. Take care out there x

I can't believe you are Scottish and calling it a "lock" it is LOCH. Shame on you.

Where you stopped by Loch Etive was supposed to be very near where the Gaelic heroine Deirdre spent her time in exile with the sons of Uisneach. They built Deirdre a small house there which they called her Grianan, ‘sun bower’.

Liking your stories. When I was young I spent a lot of time in the Cairngorms. Thanks for the taste of old times. By the way: the Galloway Hills was my other favourite place because that’s my home area. I hope you’ve been there too.

Next time, could you do a slower panorama view. The scenery was stellar but I couldn't get the entire view. Please enjoy your trips, stop, and have lunch. Life is too short to speed race through it. Love your channel.

Done a lot of walks in Scotland some by myself in middle of moonlit night walking through the night with a head torch . I have always felt serenly calm by myself at night. In fact the calmness comes from knowing there is nothing out there but me and the NATURAL wilderness. I felt only natural fears like 'I hope I dont go over on an ankle'. But I do understand the power of the mind. Watch a horror film and don't put your foot out of the bed in case the monster under the bed gets it.

I’ve got that creeped out “bad energy” feeling many times at remote mountain lakes here in Ireland. We would traditionally attribute it to the Sidhe (Fairies). Seems the Sidhe are in Scotland too, though known as Seelie there: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seelie

You need a hammock to hang between two trees. We used to go camping in the highlands all the time as kids, but when I grew up, just driving between the mountains on those narrow roads gave me the willies, as if the mountains were coming in on me. I'm Scottish, also a Lowlander, but dad's father's family were from the Highlands - Gaelic speakers.

Onw of the few places Ive been camping is Glen Orchy, down by the river (well past the rapids). Our camping spot was fine but I remember further up the tiver gave me the creeps. I was only 10 and I distinctly remember that. Im now in my 30s and I've still never been back, and every time I think about walking there I cant do it. I've had thst creepy feeling in another couple of places too, most recently in a patch of foresty on the esst side of Loch Lomond, and a river mouth on West Loch Lomond and I always listen to my gut and move on quickly.

Why did you clean your stuff in the river? You should get some water and clean away from the water nobody wants your noodles in there filter down the river thats just common sense

I’m pretty sure he will have eaten it all and a tiny bit sauce from an empty pot noodle container will have dissipated to nothing within a foot of flowing down the river. Chill 😂

Thank you so much for sharing that walk with us. I've only just found your channel and sub'd. It reminded me so much of my teens, in the early 60s, when we'd do the same in the Lakes and Scotland. The memories have stayed with me through the years as being so beautiful.

When you get a feeling like that - it’s because the ultra terrestrials have a base hidden underwater they have lived alongside mankind for years but prefer not to mix with us and they have technologies that are more advanced than we have - they can give us telepathic warnings like they did to some who commented below sounds to me that 2 lochs you have mentioned where you got the same feeling are indeed their bases.💚❤️🙏🏻
