I would never ever buy a Bike without automaric transmission in 2024. Love the Honda Afrika Twin with it.

Could you do this video but at normal shops that are cheaper or gumtree?

I think RE has nailed it with this HIMALAYAN in every aspect.On d refinement side I disagree with you as I like some sort of vibration in bike,it gives a bit of character to it which keeps you engaged to raiding.waiting for GAURELLA den take a call which one to go for.

i have a CBR650R. I use it as a daily driver and it has been a total blast to ride. So much fun and I love the sound of that inline 4. Those 2 cylinder motors can't give that satisfaction., So far in 13,000 miles, nothing has broken. I follow the Honda maintenance schedule and just put gas in and ride it everywhere.

I have two cars one with a DSG gearbox and one with a manual gearbox, and I prefer the DSG for commuter stop start motoring. For the same reason I bought a Honda NC750X with DCT which is great to ride.

Man I wish the scrambler 400 was on a 21 inch spoked and taller off road suspension. Because it really is quite light and a great engine… and stylistically I would enjoy black forks and a straighter line with the tank and seat

I think it's unfair to compare these bikes. The Himalayan is better suited to have a comparison with a the CF Moto, both similarly priced, both ADV capable, similar bells & whistles. The only thing these bikes have in common is their British heritage and India manufacturing...!

I would love to see this race against a 2018+ Vmax. Nobody ever races them, but I have seen some videos where the VMax literally smokes the 3 GT.

So , from 2021 and younger models, they all have different maping for mid range or it is only on black edition?

Uhh man they did the mt09 dirty with that god wart of an exhaust... They couldn't pretty that up a bit?? That would be the first thing I'd replace.

Neither of these bikes are suited for beginners, I would NEVER recommend these for a beginner. Big mistake IMO. The CB500 and Yamaha MT03 are beginner bikes.

It’s a no from me. I have a 2018 monster and I love the trellis frame, it adds so much character! This just looks like an mt09 or something 👎🏼

I mean I get that the retro aspect of both bikes might make them look like competitors, the Himi actually goes against the CFmoto450MT whereas the Scrambler 400X could be an interesting competitor to the Husky Svartpilen. (And the Speed400 to the Vitpilen)

Out of the two for off roading. I.e. the advertised purposed I'd get the Himalayan. And this is coming from a Triumph fan boy. Own 2 Triumphs.

I'm pre-ordered a black/gold Himalayan. Still waiting for the tubeless. Maybe next month i'll be a owner. My wife gets her black Honda NX500 in 2 weeks, so we can have road adventures soon.

A more competitive comparison would be the RE Himalayan vs the CFMoto 450MT. Both great light ADVs.

If you want adventure looks and are actually going to take the bike off road then consider the Enfield. As most bikes won't go off road I'd go for either of the Triumphs. Liked the looks of the Enfield but the vibes were annoying. All are great value bikes and are going to sell in massive number.

Not my cup of tea, but still I am impressed by that bike, and by what has Royal Enfield achieved in the last 5-6 years.

The entire video: Himalayan: It is an ADV Scambler 400X: It is a Scrambler
@reinistraidas15 сағат бұрын
Just tested both. The 400X buzzes considerably less than the Himalayan at highway speeds. I'd say, compared to the Himalayan, the 400X doesn't really vibe at all.

Also the fuel cap is offset on the Triumph making it difficult to fit a tank bag with a tank ring fixing! (the bag I already have)!

I like both motorcycles, but would prefer the RE. Advantages: better wind protection, standard center stand and crash bars, and for me the more interesting design. The RE looks so wonderfully old-fashioned while the Triumph looks like all the others. What bothers me about the RE is the sloppy workmanship in some details. The black/gold model has tube tires and the CEAT standard tires are crap in the wet.
@TheWuseln11 сағат бұрын
Fun fact: in Italy the Hanle version (black/gold) is also available as tubeless version.

Looks wise the Himalayan looks to me like my old 2012 650 V Strom without the fairing.
@SS-ck3ew16 сағат бұрын
I would not buy either the RE Scrambler or the Triumph Scrambler 900. Tube wheels suck. Tiny gas tanks suck and the Triumph 900 Scrambler has an itsie-bitsie-teenie-weeine-useless-as-can-be fuel tank at a mere 3.17 gallons US and tube tires. Talk about a cheap, stoopid and insulting design. PASS. If Royal Enfield mucks it up with the 650 Scrambler by giving it anything less than 5 gallon (US) tank and tubeless spoke wheels? PASS. RE has had long enough to get the 650 Scrambler right the FIRST time. If they don't do so I guess they don't give an airborne intercourse about the bike. Thank you for the look at the RE, sir! SS
