Pay attention to the lyrics. There's quite a philosophical message to the song and it usually takes a few listens to catch what Steve is saying. Largely, it's about how sometimes the seeming futility of life makes it feel like it is leading you in circles and leaves you feeling lost. Great words that Steve hides in a melody that fools you into missing the message.

I'm a little late to the show but the style of guitar you mentioned in the start of the video is called Fingerstyle! Fingerstyle differs from playing with a pick because instead of using a guitar pick to pluck the strings, you pluck them with each of your 5 fingers. It's super tough to learn but can be incredibly rewarding.

The suits are part of the mod culture that was ( and still around) in the 60s..They followed bands like the Who,kinks,soul..etc..And wore sharp clothing..Apposed to their enemy The Rockers...Many violent clashes took place between rival factions especially at seaside resorts in the 60s when rival factions would visit on Bank Holiday weekends...Try and check out the film Quadrophenia ..The who done the soundtrack & the film is a great insight Into mod culture..👍

Try some straight up Max Webster and be prepared for a ride! "In the World of Giants" from this album is monstrous as is virtually anything from "High Class in Borrowed Shoes". Such a classic album!

So in the intro, right after the synth voice says "Sweet Talk-in Wo-man" Jeff Lynne sings "Where did you go?", not "Bad days are gone". Sorry 😬

Ok Human League is nice in the 80s, but try Human League in the 70s....much more interesting although i like this 80s tracks too but a little lesser than the 70s Human League stuff....BEING BOILED - HUMAN LEAGUE or choose HUMAN LEAGUE - CIRCUS OF DEATH...HumaN LeAGUE where really pioneers of the synth wave alternative music together with The Simple Minds, OMD, Duran Duran,Cure etc etc
