Why the hell do you have a useless and clickbaity red arrow pointing to THE ONLY THING in your thumbnail? It's nice to see which channels value using clickbaity techniques to get those precious clicks rather than making content that will stand on its own because it shows me the channels who place their priority on using clickbait techniques and which channels I need to block. One imagines a substantial investment in establishing precise measurements for these designs to operate optimally. Beautiful work. New Subscriber. Physics becomes increasingly fascinating with accumulating time on planet. Imagine a "toy" that interacts with Our planet's magnetic field and varies in its performance with geomagnetic storms following Flares and Coronal Mass Ejections. Those should be much in demand in the coming years.

I'll be honest. Liked everything but one thing - the walking thingamajigger. It creeps me out. It honestly reminds me of something from when I was 10 years old (37 years ago) and it's not a fond memory. So grats for successfully scrounging up a bad memory. As for what it was? The roof collapsed in my bedroom while I was sleeping and I woke up to a bunch of creepy crawlies (bugs I don't wanna think too much about) crawling all over me. Haven't been a fan of certain bugs and insects ever since. The notion of the legs moving reminds me of that. Lucky me...**sigh**

Background music: 1 it gets irritating very quickly. 1 - the projecting kaleidoscope reminds me of junior high school dances where petri dishes, colored water/oil, and an overhead projector were our light show.

0:56 this thing really works. I built a Bismuth levitator myself 10 years ago. The little magnet just keeps floating for years and years, not touching anything. It doesn't require any power. You can spin the magnet and it will keep spinning for quite a long time, eventually stopping the rotation due to eddy currents and air friction. But it will levitate indefinitely. This does not violate energy conservation and it's not perpetual motion either, just passively stable levitation. Really fascinating physics gadget.

Because the center of the disk is moving faster than it would if the small disk were simply rolling. Easy to visualize if you make the small disk, say, 1 inch in diameter, and the big one 1 foot in diameter.
