Sorry you didn't like it. I liked the song at the time, but have since moved to more toned-down music in my videos. Taking another listen the mix also really sounds off now. I've noticed this on other videos which makes me wonder if the KZfaq audio compression has changed or something. Not sure, but... I appreciate you for watching and the feedback. 🌞✌

I never did find out for sure as I wasn't able to find anything online. I do now see though that there is a backroad/atv route that goes to the top of the mesa -- so I'm guessing it might be a contemporary rock stack of some sort. Thanks for watching and the question. 🌞✌

Dang it...I couldn't find the survey marker at Powell Point when I was there, and now I know why! Being at ground level it's not difficult for it to become covered in a thin layer of dirt and gravel.

Thank you! Getting out to Powel Point later in the season isn't that hard as many vehicles can drive most of the way (high clearance would probably be best though.) The road ends about 3/4 mile short of the point and it's a good trail from there. Thanks again for watching and the comment. 🌞✌

katadyn gravity feed filters are heavier but we've been very happy/ our first one did slow down a lot after a couple years but the newer one seems better. definitely don't worry about the bag failing, very well made... / well at least you got to see the flowers/ so frustrating i know how it feels to leave stuff behind... awesome episode that was really cool seeing the slot from above/ comedy we did a hike down to Sipapu Bridge in Natural Bridges and Roxana said she was waiting for you to show up in the canyon hahaha, looked like your kind of area but i bet a little too hot for your type of hike, July it was around 95 hahaha...

Great series! I was wondering about the bear... of course in the water areas. I saw the one image you showed of your food bag hung up, but not until you were in the mountain area. Do you have to protect it down in the desert too?
@Acrossutah
@Acrossutah 12 күн бұрын
Thank you! I didn't talk about it in the video, but along my original planned route I actually had another cache near Bryce Canyon which was IN a bear canister. The hope was to have it while hiking through the area where bears are most common. However -- the deviation changed that and thus I had to hang the food bag. Outside of bear country I actually sleep with my food bag. I've had many people criticize me for this tactic, but in all my years I've never had a critter try to get inside my tent with me in it to get to my food.
