Mine failed after 60K miles. I had a full warranty so it is getting replaced. As soon as that happens I am trading it in for a Tundra. Not a junky Dodge, not a GMC/Chevy (Ford and GM codeveloped the 10 speed), but a Tundra.

I drove more of the cars they recommend against than ones to buy, and they are spot on. (Chevy traverse, Equinox V6, Chrysler 300, Jeep Renegade, etc) Absolute junkyards on wheels especially the Travesty 😂 Never owned them thank goodness, got the Lexus that shares the platform with this and an older Mustang before that. The aforementioned other cars were mostly me driving them and rescuing friends and family to call a tow. They hit the mark with that.

I have the *LT265/70R17 121S E1* variant at 45 PSI on a Silverado 1500. Yesterday morning on the drive to work, it had been raining for part of the night and the ground was quite wet. No slippage at all and I didn't spare the gas pedal. The roads dried out while at work and then rained a bit on the way back. Here the KO2s acted like a really cheap highway tire. My current takeaway is that they're very temperamental on wet pavement. I don't know why they gripped flawlessly on the way over but not on the way back. There's some control variable I'm missing. I was in 2-Hi with nothing in the bed and almost no gas in the tank both over and back. It *could* be temperature. Or the vehicle's PCM regulating torque management differently. I have no idea. It's just strange.

You know rebuild kits only cost like 600$ for this car if you did that 150k miles I bet it could see a million miles, people go 250-500 on a non rebuilt motor if it's not been driving aggressively and oil maintenance been maintained, Honda belts I've seen last 350-400k miles I guess that all depending as well if you installed it correctly and have the proper amount of tension on the belt because any further slack is significant and will wear the belt prematurely also probably be a good idea to replace catalytic converter every 150k miles if it's clogged back pressure will be in your combustion chamber, and possibly ruin your rings prematurely witch will your engine lose compression and also burn oil, replace or Clean pcv every 50k miles, Replace fuel filter every every 50k miles recommended, clean or replace fuel pressure regulator every 80-150k miles reason being because if it isn't function correctly and dumping to much fuel pressure your car will run rich witch will cause a lot of carbon build up pistons valves catalytic converter, witch overtime will clog and also with back pressure, Your internals will wear prematurely, Clean fuel is important too what I see on all of lot of cars from my 20 years of experience is one or 2 rod bearings are worn, that's either due to a oil pressure issue or poor oil maintenance issue or Dirty fuel, when combustion is happening say you have 4 cylinders and 1 injector is clogged and it isn't displacing fuel correctly combustion will still happen but it's putting strain on that particular chamber because the other cylinder have to make up for that lost of power and that puts a lot of strain on the rod bearings, also if your fuel pressure regulator could be leaking fuel into the throttle very common and if this issue is accumulating your engine will run but as not as a efficient and produce more carbon inside of the engine, checking the behind the butterfly throttle body so see if there's fuel or oil , Your air intake pipe has a map and if you have this issue your car will still drive no check engine light but you'll get eventually get like a 02 code people literally drive for years and this ruins premature wears the engine significantly too I've own over 20 Hondas and like 30 of other car brands Also the the transmission can last a long time 400k just make sure you replace the fluid every 60k miles, Timing is key to any interference engine, Top dead center, The ECU on calibrated to air fuel ratio, yes the engine has a variety of sensors that can advance timing or take out some timing but it doesn't change the fact that the mechanical timing has to be correct for ignition timing, crank timing, valve lash, It's good to be aware that on high milage engines the the cam lobes can be worn thousands of inch, So doing research about that they don't take that into account when giving out the OEM spec, Its good to make it slightly 5,000 of inch depending on your condition, you want the valve to open fully if it doesn't then you'll have loss of power and your engine wont be running efficiently

What an absolute load of bullshit. Ford sell the most because they’re cheap. That’s it. It’s the same in Australia. Ford trucks outsell every other truck, why? Because they’re $10,000-$20,000 cheaper than a Toyota or any other truck. Now as a mechanic I can tell you ford does not have good build quality. What you have here is what’s called anecdotal evidence. It’s like people that smoke all their lives but never get cancer saying smoking isn’t bad for you because it didn’t happen to them. The fact YOU didn’t have a problem with 1 or even 2 fords does not mean they’re reliable. They are not. They have a shit ton of problem just like all the other manufacturers. We get it, you like fords amd that’s fine but I hope no one sees this clearly biased video and thinks you have any idea what you’re talking about 😂
