is that + or - 8.1? and which device do you use? that's a pretty steep offset either way. if it's a negative offset, I find it easier to balance if the note speed is slower.

@biriamu + 8.1 on Samsung galaxy tab 8. I do want to make it slower somehow cause getting into master territory is a bit too fast for comfort, but at the same time, my taps are too 'early' Sorry to bother you but love to hear any suggestions. Or maybe I just need to play more lol. I still can FC some level 27 so it's all good

​@@ayuniaot no worries, i'm glad to help. i believe it could be a speed issue. that offset is a little too far in my opinion, maybe bring it back down and increase the speed a bit. most of it just comes down to practice, so it'll start to make more sense once you play more charts.

where did you get iTunes? if you downloaded it from the Microsoft store, apparently it won't work, maybe try reinstalling iTunes with the link in the description, it's directly from Apple's servers so it is safe.

I'm not sure how severe the burn is, but if you can wipe the screen as cleanly as possible and apply a new screen protector over it, you might be able to hide it to a certain extent.

maybe, but you'd have to make some pretty significant offset adjustments. i found that sometimes i'd have to move my offset to -20, and even then sometimes it wouldn't be enough. maybe push your offset further back and see if your taps start to align with the music.

the earbuds could come in handy :)

thanks for watching! glad you found it useful! thumb players can also utilize the finger sleeves to a certain extent! if you've seen konohaprsk (木乃葉) play, he a very good thumb player, and uses finger sleeves while he plays. it could be worth trying out for you if you are ever considering them.

congrats on the ipad! i didn't really tweak much in the settings, but you should definitely make sure that all the multi-finger gestures are off. this prevents the touchscreen from acting up when you have more than 3 fingers on the screen. my video roadmap is pretty stacked currently, but i plan to make a video about optimizing devices for rhythm games in the future, so i hope you can look forward to that 😁

ahh that's tough. personally i would always prioritize the ipad if you can turn off some settings in-game to get a better framerate. if it still doesn't work, you might have to get used to the phone for the time being.

most likely. but i dont recommend putting your tablet/phone up like a keyboard during osu!mania gameplay, since it was uncomfy for me. everyone has preferences, though!

these accessories are not specific to any game, so they should all work for a variety of rhythm games.

i use a huawei matepad, using coasters (ya know, the things for hot drinks). since it slips on tables and i dont have a map, it helps. i use a rubber coaster, but i occasionally play on my couch while laying down for +++ comfort. :)

for phones, i usually find the experience a little better if i take off the case and put the phone directly on the mat. could be worth trying out if you haven't already. you can also try investing in the finger sleeves, i find those to help out a lot.
