Hi! I can understand your concern. Due to fair housing laws, I can't really talk about that subject matter. I would recommend visiting different neighborhoods in Ocala and doing your personal research outside of what people say. Hope this helps!

I live in south Florida and there's something about the "wood frame" construction for the second floor that makes me feel uneasy about safety in a strong cat. 3 and up hurricane. Is there an option for "CBS" construction for two story homes in that particular area?

Hey Tony, since we're inland, hurricanes don't impact us as much as being on the coast. Newer homes are built up to code to withstand hurricanes. There are homes that are fully wood-frame or just wood-frame on the second floor because it allows flexibility with design. Ultimately, if you'd only like block construction, look into 1-story homes or contact me and I'll send you a list of new homes with 2-story block.

@@housesinorlandoflorida I live inland as well, but all homes where I live, whether inland or coastal area, are CBS throughout. CBS construction is the way to go if you live in Florida.
