I have the older style Rigid cordless vacuum. It was a complete waste of $. The motor is fine. It blows plenty of air. The seal on the container is garbage though. It sucks up fine dust but that’s it. Wood chips, or anything with even a little bit of mass just sits there. Liquid? Forget about it. Water doesn’t even make it up the hose. I just ordered this model. I hope it performs as well as it did in your review.

I hate to be “that guy”, but premium vs regular unleaded isn’t about cleaning additives. Octane selection is almost exclusive to the engines compression ratio and ignition timing. Isn’t it more efficient (cheaper) to use the same, or similar, detergent package in all octane ratings sharing the same branding?

The normal DEWALT expander is faster than the Milwaukee fuel. The Milwaukee is also junk, the top of the expander is loose on every one I’ve seen, between the cheap junky plastic and the metal head there is okay. The Milwaukee handle is uncomfortable as hell too. Compare that dewalt to the 1-1/2” Milwaukee. It’s slower because it’s designed to expand 1-1/2” pex and that Milwaukee is designed for 1”

If you want speed up the process, need to perform Italian Tune Ups on a regular basis. At lower combustion temps, short trips, more carbon will develop. Drive the vehicle at 4k rpm for 15 min at highway speeds to get the engine, valves, pistons hot. Then drive at wide open throttle till it shifts, then do a full deceleration to 1500 rpm, repeat 4-5 times. You will see marked difference in carbon removal after only one run. I have done same testing, borescope imaging, engine data logging, and fuel efficiency on my GM 2.4L Ecotec, GDI. Substantial reduction in engine knock, more advance timing, and better mpgs. Being a rental, and previous owned, you wont remove all the carbon, as it is normal aspect of burning hydrocarbons. The cleaner the engine, the longer it will last. Also need to use a premium 100% synthetic oil.

Your octane of premium is lower in the US than the UK, the premium is 99 octane what is it there? Do you know what the additive package is in the fuel? I think you're better off just using injector cleaner I put diesel injector cleaner in my petrol/gasoline and that seem to work really well. I've heard about people using isopropanol not tried it myself and don't know how well it works also 105 lacquer thinner supposed to be good not tried it. Anybody hands let me know!!

Great video as always. I’ve been considering this or ridgids handheld vac. I’m a low voltage tech looking to clean up drywall dust and sawdust. How’s nxt been holding up for you? I was also considering dewalts handheld or their corded/cordless shop vac. Ever try any of them?

I've been using premium fuel/high test gasoline since car was new (7yrs ago) because my car is Direct injection only & the power/response increase is needed in my n/a car....i know it costs more, but i do get better mileage (5-7%) than the manufacturers claim

Youve got some decent points for sure. And there is no doubt that someone that uses a utulity knife extensively on the daily would probably prefer your Dewalt. Especially for hard use tasks. But so many of us dont use our utility knives extensively during the day. And for many, the more compact size and belt clip are key in making sure you've got your utility knife in your pocket for when you need it. Additionally, rubber overmold is often annoying when having something with it in your pocket in my experience. Its grippy nature makes it hang up often when removing it and putting it back in your pocket. Basically boils down to what kind of knife you need. Thats why both types exist and why compact knives with pocket clips have become popular for those that dont need an all day hard use utility knife. Their compact and easy to carry in your pocket with minimal to no annoyance. The flip factor is just a fun gimmick imo because its just as fast to slide out a blade as it is to flip it. All that being said I do run the Milwaukee 6 in 1 as my daily as a left hander and have to say for the last 6 years its worked great for me. I used to run the compact but when the 6 in 1 came out i couldnt pass up the additional utility of the bit driver and the extra blade storage. That Dewalt has some nice features as well and if I had to use a knife all day every day id be carrying a unit like your Dewalt if not that exact knife for the nice features you demonstrated in your vid.

Ok..Nissan Rogue/185 HP/ Designed for 87 octane fuel..Just use a great fuel treatment..My choice is Star Tron Fuel Enzyme Treatment..Rogue is known for great torque/Bottom end HP..Gas mileage is always questionable..Use 0w20-30 Syn Oil/ Class 4 spec every 5000 miles...

I think they're both better when used in two different scenarios. The milwuakee when you just need a quick knife, for just a few seconds. Not using all day type work. What I use for plumbing. Carry the compact all day, every day. However, DeWalt could be better for those that need to hold a knife for a lot longer. Few minutes, or longer, at a time. Maybe better for electricians or autobody shops, idk, but definitely could see it better in some cases. In my case, using the DeWalt, I just know it would be a hassle. The milwuakee is just so satisfying to flip open and negates most of the 'pros' of the dewalt, for me.

No one makes a left handed utility knife for the same reason in 25 years I have made 12 left handed knives....left handed folks wont buy them. They are so used to using right handed gear they dont want to retrain. I have had the argument that if I had them they will sell......and they sat for years through multiple shows and envents....its just not worth the effort for the big companies to pay the expense of re tooling to sell 100 or less....

As a left-handed person I think you're absolutely insane trying to make this argument bro the fastback is far and away the best box utility knife I've ever used. The button takes literally zero effort to use, your soft lil fingers will be fine. You don't need the belt clip for a folding tool anyways, it's so compact when folded it fits in a pocket way better than any other utility knife. I have no idea what you see in that absolute brick of a DeWalt. L take imo.

Seems like it cleaned it a bit. I would say that a fueld additive detergent that comes in bottles would be more useful and then the Shell is just there to maintain and to prevent carbon build up.

Would love to see a similar video showing the cleaning ability of Chevron premium fuel. My car requires premium and my owners manual recommends Chevron brand. Would be interesting to see if it cleans as well as Shell premium.

The tool is nice. All should be informed the high and low pressure side should have the same RESTING pressure. This should only take about 10 min after turning system off. But wait and it’s best to verify with gauges. If the high side doesn’t drop and low doesn’t rise to equal each other then there is a restriction somewhere (expansion valve, condensor, etc) Good safety precaution and diagnostic note.
