Why do they put pin clips for the transmission line? The other hoses are just clamps. It would have been nice if the clips had a flange or something sticking out so it isn't so hard to pry it out.

Just installed some Enginetech hypereutectic pistons in my 4V 4.6 mod engine. They are a work of art. Coated skirts and coated top ring land. Use matching Enginetech rings.

Don't pull off 2 caps!!! Take off 1 cap instead. A lot of times if you take off 2 caps to install the u-joint you'll get 1 of the small pins inside the cups out of place and when you try to press the cap in, you'll bend the pin and damage the u-joint. So, it's best if you just take off 1 cap.

The issue is the 2018+ 2nd gen 2.7 is mated to the crap 10 speed. Whats worse not having port injection or 10 speed crapper

After doing this only to find it was something else in the differential, and having to take the diff out anyways. It would be way easier to just remove the diff. Once you get the cv axle's off its four bolts. And removing a crossbar way easier.

What is the part number? I'm assuming you don't need to purchase the entire assembly which usually is around $80-$100. Thanks

I have a 2019 f150 2.7 with 108k 4x4 with Kenda RT tires and I just hauled a 900lb industrial pump back in the bed from SC to NC on i85 and calculated MPG at fill up was 23.1. 2.7 benifits from a clean fuel system and driving 80mph doesn’t help unless your tailgating 😎

Just adding a tonneau cover added 2.3 MPG on avg. in my 2014 5.0. With the canopy on, it added just over 1 MPG avg. I have not tried leaving the tailgate down. I do not have an air dam. Anything is better than the 13.4 I was getting. lol

Ya speed definitely plays a role in fuel consumption. Higher boost equals more fuel.I have a 3.5 Ecoboost and I find 105kmh ,I'm in Canada,is the sweet spot.Wind also is a factor,as is tire pressure. What boost guage app are you using? I look forward to other videos

My 2.7 only gets at best 12 litres per 100, my brother's 5.0 gets around 9.5 litres per 100. 2.7 not very economical for my 230 kilometer drive every day

This is the worst way to “follow along” when doing a simple install/replace when this guy doesn’t show up close AnyThing he’s doing and it’s all “this piece goes here that goes there” terminology holy shit dude this video is probably going to fuck up peoples trucks more than fix it because they WILL come across issues with the “that goes there this goes here” teaching method when the phone is zoomed out and 10ft away from the items you’re talking about. 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️. How does one NOT realize that when uploading a god damn video. Don’t make anymore videos please and thank you from all of us

Do you still have it and does it still run. I have a 2015 2.7 as well. Little engine rips. When I first got it I floored it and almost got away from me haha. Such a light truck. I did have issues driving on ice. Turbos kick in when you just wanted a little juice

I have a 2015 F150 XLT 2.7 pretty much same setup with 160k miles. I have replaced the oil auxiliary pump for the start and stop, and also replaced a Vapor Purge Valve. Truck is running great. unfortunately I do have the leaking gasket on the oil pan... however i do check the oil level often and it only drips when its sitting. Its a larger job to replace that pan with the 4X4 having to drop the diff etc. Just been dealing with the slight drip for now. Thinking about changing the spark plugs next always a good idea when over 100k miles.
