Dozens of jumps made since my first time seeing this video, I laugh harder 😂 “ya fuckin’ idiot”. I caught a misrouted chest strap on a skydive load last year and was upset by the jumper’s negligence -they had less than 300 jumps and were returning after a 15 year hiatus and ran a DZ in their prime. You just never.fucking.know! There WILL be opportunity to save lives! Look out for our family❤ including those that should not participate until receiving competent mentorship (including honest, “brutal” commentary). I packed and landed a step through and my instructor, Noah Clarke, called me a retard. I’m glad he’s not afraid to be harsh. He’s experienced tragedy and doesn’t want to experience it again. Excellent instructor! I’ve been instructing for 3 years now and recently became multi-rated. I tried not to -I just wanted to learn to BASE jump.

Been subscribed for 9 years now, good to hear from you pal after all these years. I'm from central Ciudad Valles,Mexico close to the town of "Aquismon" where you jumped into the "Sotano de las Golondrinas" back in 2002/2003 before it became illegal. I'll stay tuned!!

Hey Douggs, I just wound up searching this video up again because was discussing with some friends how we got into airsports. Saw this when I was 18 at uni, was instantly intrigued, got into skydiving and then speedflying. So basically the last 13 years and thousands of flights/jumps all over the world are all your fault. Do you have any idea how much this shit cost me? The real cost of youtube right there 😂 Cheers though. It's been amazing. Wouldn't have it any other way.

The casual way he talks about "all of us have lost mates" and "all my old friends are dead doing this" is kind of haunting....

It is not ideal thats for sure. My role in the sport is to keep people alive now and show them how to be safe

Костюм выглядит ужасно, безобразно. Полет это крылья, а это матрас надутый.
First time iv seen someone actually recover from that while base jumping. Good stuff glad you made it

And here I am 15 years later watching this and you were right - there was SO much more to come. You’re a force or nature mate who I am lucky to call a friend. Steve (logbook 😊)

Really appreciate this video. I'm new and super conservative, but at that almost 100 jump # where I see other people who started when I did started to push boundaries that I have no intention of pushing anytime soon and it's always nice hearing to experts tell you when they've backed off of jumps or made the decision to have a beer instead.

How many jumps could you do in a day at Kjerag? From the landing back to the top, is it a helicopter ride?
