I don’t think the scourge between stars is a good representation for adult sci-fi. I read a decent amount of the genre but I also have ness brown’s book 3-3.5 stars. You should try more! I would say try An unkindness of ghosts by rivers Solomon, Dawn by Octavia butler, escaping exodus by Nicky Drayden, or The Lesson by Cadwell Turnbull. They are all different but depending on what you want, they are good.⭐️

🌟 July started slow with a few 3 stars but ended very well with some 5 star reads. i know you enjoyed fluffy romance like me so i recommend Spoked and Spiced by K.C. mills it followed two food trucks owners who are fighting over a primary location and its so cute. The other rec is Rudy Jones New Year Resolution by Aria Daze this is one of the best second change romances I've ever read ill leave it there read it!!

For ACOTAR, the first book is the lowest rating of the five books. I would read the whole series again and skip the first book but you can't cuz it sets up the most epic romantacy I have read so far. The second book is the 5 ⭐😭🙃
