This part of the line is now used as a pedestrian walkway and people on foot and on bicycles now use the old trackbed through here

Fantastic video, many thanks to your father for capturing this and to you for sharing it. I used to live close to the Harborne Walkway and loved discovering its history. I recently purchased the original pamphlet that was printed for this excursion, just trying to find a ticket to go with it now.

Thanks for your kind comment. Some of my father's family lived in Gordon Road - many happy hours of my childhood spent at No.35! I have one of the cast iron street signs from the road (an eBay find). Must do the walkway one day... And I also have dad's copy of the pamphlet - a ticket would be a lucky find; good luck with that! Thanks again, Dave

I'd love to get my hands on this loco, remove the Cummins 335hp power unit, and replace it with two GM 6 5L power units of 215 each. It would sound amazing and with 430hp be a monster!!!

Earliest models of the great Garratt engines had pistons in the main engine. The connecting rods then moved the wheels of the front and rear articulated / attached sections .

Merci beaucoup pour cette excellente vidéo.🇲🇫❤️ As a former French helicopter pilot, I have enormous pleasure and enormous emotion in admiring these marvelous landscapes and large canyons from the sky that I don't know as if I was in the place of the pilot himself. Thank you so much.🇲🇫❤️

I just did that same flight, and there's no way to put flying over the Grand Canyon into words. There isn't, you're mind is completely blown. This is a must for anyone who's never seen the Grand Canyon, and wants to experience it in one of the best ways possible.
