Harleys have become a rip-off with a woke German ceo. BMW is superior and they are incentivizing their pricing to get a lot of the bikes on American roads. Now if only BMW could get an American CEO 😂

I know this video is 2 years old, but last Saturday I went into my local Triumph/BMW/Ducati/Indian dealer, trying to get some stuff sorted on my 765 RS..... took one of these out for a test ride.... Bought it. I have all the carbon fiber bits, with the Akra silencer on it and just absolutely love it. Got about 500ish kilometers on the thing and it keeps surprising me.... I do miss my Triumph though

Nice video. I have a T100. I have come to the point in life where I honestly don't want super loud, but I do want throaty tone AND, most importantly, I want to be able to get quick open access to my chain and adjusters to clean and adjust my chain. And, I want to be able to pull my rear wheel without pulling off my mufflers. Not sure it this sleeper pro allows for that, but I do know that the shorty version does all of it.

As a BMW Motorad fan I have been thinking about an R18 but avoided it for now because long distance touring is unlikely for me but your review is making me rethink that. Perhaps I will go to my dealer and try one out. Thank you. For now I am on the GS1250 and love that machine.

I bought my first bike from there in 2017. It was a 2016 s1000xr. Great people there. If anyone is in the area, go across the street to the shopping center and go to Johnny Pacific. Get the chicken Al pastor and banana Nutella empanadas. They are to die for.

I remember renting a Vespa in Italy.. I started out driving like an American.. after a few hours I conformed and was driving like the Italians.. a bit stressful but we lived! lol!

Got myself an XR 2 Months after getting my license...best decision ever...slowly growing into the bike its awesome.

I found it out that sometimes when you are on a stop and the wanted to go and push on the 1st gear and it does not do nothing, while in neutral i move the bike a bit forward and then step on the first gear and it would go absolutely fine

I've just bought a BMW R Nine T 2019 and I would like to do the exact same modification - One Speedometer changed to a Speedometer and a Rev Counter with Gear Indicator. Can any one assist, please, and let me know if the same parts for the 2017 model will fit on the 2019 model and work exactly the same ? BY THE WAY, Sidestand, Thank you for your awesome video and parts list. I really hope that I can find someone that responds and that has made the exact same modification on another 2019 model.

I get that brake light fault alert once every few months on my GS.

wobbly first gear, accelerator cable slack, crappy rear shock, low quality seat, tube tires on spoked wheels,...

I just bought mine, not a good ride yet (cruddy British weather currently). That being said my short ride home was illuminating. Bike is after an R1250RT much quicker response on throwing it. I have already replaced the seat and screen and I have a brake pedal extension coming. Other than that, loved the bike straight away. I’m jealous I’m not back on those SoCal roads I’ve ridden before for about 8 years.

Only issue with these boxer engines is the lack of option for forward controles
